Who are Damar Hamlin's parents? Buffalo Bills safety collapses on field after colliding with opponent
CINCINNATI, OHIO: Buffalo Bills’ safety Damar collapsed on the field on Monday night, January 2, while playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was soon taken to the University of Cincinnati Hospital leaving the game suspended for the evening as the NFL world prayed for the 24-year-old’s recovery. The NFL said, "Hamlin received immediate medical attention on the field by team and independent medical staff and local paramedics. He was then transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition. Our thoughts are with Damar and the Buffalo Bills. We will provide more information as it becomes available. The NFL has been in constant communication with the NFL Players Association which is in agreement with postponing the game."
While giving an update about his health, Jordan Rooney, his marketing representative wrote on Twitter, “They are currently running tests. We will provide updates as we have them.”

Who are Damar Hamlin's parents?
Hamlin, who is a safety for the Buffalo Bills, is the son of Mario Hamlin and Nina Hamlin. Immediately after his injury, his mother traveled to the hospital in the ambulance with him, while his father was not at the stadium, reports Opoyi.
His father was arrested for selling drugs, following which he spent 3.5 years in prison. Damar told News 4 via WIVB in a 2021 interview, “I’m extremely close to my family. My mom, she was sixteen when she had me and I just try to think about when I was sixteen years old and I just couldn’t imagine having a little boy. It was probably so stressful but both of my parents had my young, at sixteen and pretty much since that point they put everything they had into me to get me to where we are right now today.” He added by saying, “It was us at first, just me and my mom and my dad and they taught me hard work. They taught me you gotta work for everything you and basically they just taught me all of the lessons of life.”
Damar founded the Chasing M’s Foundation and hosted a toy drive after the 2020 season at Kelly and Nina’s Daycare Center in McKees Rocks, his mother’s daycare center, and raised more than $2,500.
