'Crisis On Infinite Earths' Part 2: Oliver Queen is alive, but without a soul and fans are not having it

Oliver Queen is back, but it's not the Green Arrow fans are familiar with.

The first episode of 'The Crisis On Infinite Earths' didn't mess around and stayed true to its name as fans were forced to bid goodbye to Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) in what was a very unexpected ending. Though there was no doubt that Green Arrow would die during the Crisis, his abrupt death in the first episode itself came as a jolt to the fans. After all, he started the whole shindig and the Arrowverse is named after him. So, now what?

The second episode of 'The Crisis On Infinite Earths' decided to toy with the fans' emotions a little more, almost torturing them. This is a world where time travel, magic and resurrections are possible if you find that tiny loophole. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver's daughter Mia (Kate McNamara) don't want to give up on Oliver so easily and are determined to get him back. And so, they head to the Lazarus Pit, even though Mia knows the horrors of the pit. However, Sara Lance (Caty Lotz) joins them and she knows what it means to be brought back by the Lazarus Pit. She knows what it means to be a lost soul. However, she also knows that you can come back better than ever.

The resurrection rituals begin, and Oliver seems to be brought back. Except, it's not him. Not yet. He's without a soul. Fans are in a flux and don't know what to think.

One wrote, "Oliver Queen lives, but without a soul!!? This is not good!?"

Another tweeted, "So what's more worrying - The Anti-Monitor or Oliver Queen without a soul #CrisisOnInfiniteEarths."

One wrote, "Good things about this episode : Clark and Lois have 2 daughters Mia trying to get her dad back with Sara and Barry Brandon as Superman OLIVER QUEEN IS ALIVE Now we are waiting for lucifer so he can bring back Oliver's soul. Thank you very much."

One fan tweeted, "Y'all not leave my baby Oliver queen in body purgatory cause that's some real trifling ass holy shit if you do , I am feeling some kind of way with this crossover with how y'all treating my Oliver Queen."

"As if watching Oliver die once wasn’t bad enough. This means I’ll have to watch it twice. That’s two more times than necessary," one emotional fan wrote.

The 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' Part 3 will air on December 10.
