Couple left shell-shocked as dog comes back with strange item while playing fetch in park
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Has your dog ever picked up something bizarre when you play fetch at the park? A Sydney-based couple experienced exactly that when they took their dog for a walk. Their pet pooch named Myrtle, came back with an interesting yet disturbing discovery between her teeth. The newly-engaged couple had taken their dog out for a walk around the Burraneer Bush Park in the city’s south and were playing fetch when their pet arrived and threw down a “much floppier and girthier stick.”
The couple was puzzled about what their dog had found, but soon their confusion turned into horror as they realised it was “in fact, a giant dildo.” The couple then got cheeky as they allowed their dog to “play with it for a bit,” and also managed to get pictures and videos of their dog chewing on the toy. They then left it there so it would “terrorize” someone at the park when they least expected it. The woman then shared the hilarious incident on social media, where she expressed "sadness" over the “purity of [her] sweet dog” being “forever compromised.”

‘Your pup looks so proud!’
In her social media post, the woman said she had no idea where the sex toy came from, and that it was probably there when they came. She added that they left it there when they left. "Myrtle is the real star of the story," she said, according to Yahoo! News, adding, "But I mean it definitely caused a double take".
Many commenters on the post found the whole incident amusing and funny and managed to get in on the joke as well. "Brings new meaning to 'give a dog a bone,'" a user commented. "Oh my god too funny, your pup looks so proud to show off it's find," another user said.
More incidents of couples with dogs
While this one was an interesting tale with a bit of fun, another dog did not have a similarly great time. In February, MEAWW reported how a couple brought their dog out to Bondi Beach, left him to dry in the car, which was parked in the hot sun, as they went away to take a dip in the cold water.
Locals were understandably not amused as they slammed the couple for their “stupidity” for leaving their dog unsupervised inside a hot car. "When parked it may had been in the shade but now it's in full sun. Black leather seat is so hot already... and even with four windows down," the woman noted, adding the dog was drooling on the seats and windows and was heavily panting. "And those of you who think it is fine... l suggest you swap seats with the dog and see if you can handle it for a while," she wrote.
