Who is Corrina? Amy Grant and Vince Gill's daughter sings 'When my Amy prays' as singer recovers from crash
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Vince Gill and Amy Grant's daughter, Corrina, performed over the last weekend in Nashville. The father-daughter duo touched the hearts of many as they spoke and remembered Amy Grant, who is currently recovering from a major accident. Together, they performed "When My Amy Prays" at Ryman, changing the lyrics of the chorus to "when my mama prays." Amy was hospitalized after a major accident while bicycling with friends in Nashville, Tennessee on July 27. She fell unconscious for the next few moments. However, she was taken to the hospital immediately.
Gill, the singer’s husband, addressed the 61-year-old Grammy Award winner's accident on Saturday, August 6, during a four-night residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. He welcomed the couple’s daughter Corinna to the stage to join him for the live performance.

Who is Corrina Grant Gill?
Corrina Grant Gill is the daughter of the much-celebrated duo Vince Gill and Amy Grant. She was born and brought up in Nashville. The 21-year-old is interested in music and dance. However, she has spoken about numerous struggles in her life to be in the industry. In many interviews, she has mentioned how she was body shamed and believed she could never be a part of the entertainment industry.
Corrina has also mentioned the fast-paced culture of the music fraternity and stated she could never work at that speed. “What is so enticing to me about music is, in the spaces that I think music is supposed to be, it embraces every story and every sound and every person,” she said in an interview in April 2022. Corrina performed her original music for the first time with a full band on May 12 at the East Room. However, she plans to make headway on her first album, which will release in the spring of 2023.
Gill and Amy got married on March 10, 2000, after being close friends for almost a decade. During the concert, Gill stated, “We’re gonna do this song that I wrote for my wife, Amy,” Gill told the audience in a video from the show shared on Grant’s Facebook page. “We haven’t been doing it much, but because of her accident and everything she’s been going through we’ve been thinkin’ a lot about her. I thought how sweet it would be for her youngest to sing the song I wrote for her."

One of the close reps for Amy told Billboard, “She is making progress every day. As Vince has announced during his concerts at the Ryman, she has a concussion and has needed a lot of downtime and peace and quiet to recover. When she hit the pothole she was thrown from her bike and hit her head hard and was knocked out for about 10 minutes before being transported to the hospital by ambulance. Every day she gets stronger and more alert/energetic.” The bicycle accident happened two years after Grant faced a major health issue. She has received open-heart surgery to fix a birth defect for a condition called partial anomalous pulmonary venous return.
