Who is Matthew Rondeau? Cops visit Shanna Moakler's home days after she drops violence charges against BF
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star Shanna Moakler and her model-and-actor boyfriend Matthew Rondeau received a visit from cops on Thursday, July 28, after receiving a 911 emergency call made by Moakler's daughter, according to the Daily Mail. Moakler is the mother to two daughters, 16-year-old Alabama from her earlier marriage to celebrity singer Travis Barker, and another from her former engagement to boxer Oscar de la Hoya, Atiana, aged 23. Police could not immediately verify which daughter made the call.
In February, Rondeau was arrested following a similar incident, and charges had been pressed on July 21 on counts of misdemeanor, domestic violence, battery and vandalism. However, People reported that the charges were either reduced or completely dropped later as Moakler was not willing to go ahead with them and wanted to fully support her husband. At a pre-trial hearing on July 18, Rondeau pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Moakler said in an interview with TMZ, "Hoping the city attorney respects my wishes and drops everything as well. I will be supporting Matthew 100%. This has disrupted our lives enough. We have both learned from this experience we never wish to have been public and we would like to move forward in a positive and peaceful manner."
Interestingly, in March 2022, Elissa Lorenn, a transgender woman, accused Rondeau of attacking her at Moakler’s Los Angeles home while she was away for the shoot of the reality TV series ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. The incident took place when Lorenn reportedly went to Moakler’s house with her friend Shayan to hang out with Rondeau on an early Friday in 2020.

Who is Shanna Moakler?
Shanna Moakler is an American model, actress and reality television star, who won the Miss New York USA pageant in 1995 and was the first runner-up at Miss USA the same year, when the winner, Chelsi Smith, became Miss Universe. Moakler, who is of German, Portuguese and Irish descent, began modeling at the age of 15 and was later chosen as a Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine in December 2001.
She started her television career in 1996 with appearances on 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman', Due South' and NBC movie of the week 'Til the End', also starring Shannen Doherty. In 1998, she appeared in an episode of 'Timecop' playing the role of Allison Kendall, and became a regular on the television police drama 'Pacific Blue'.
She dated British musician Billy Idol in 1997, and the couple appeared in a scene together in the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore romcom, 'The Wedding Singer'. She dated boxer Oscar De La Hoya in October 1997, with whom she had a daughter. The relationship abruptly ended in 2000 when the actor saw De La Hoya escorting another woman to the Latin Grammy Awards when she was at home watching the show on television.
