STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Apple TV+'s mind-boggling psychological space thriller series 'Constellation' continues to intrigue audiences in Episode 5 as Jo Ericsson (Noomi Rapace) embarks on a journey to prove that she isn't psychotic while looking for scientific explanations of events surrounding her.

In the latest episode, Jo flees with her daughter Alice Ericsson-Taylor (Davina Coleman and Rosie Coleman) following a heated argument with her husband Magnus Taylor (James D'Arcy), during which she inadvertently pushes him, leading to his unconscious fall after hitting his head.

During breakfast, Jo Ericsson inquires Alice why she hides in her cupboard. Despite initial hesitation, Jo creates a comfortable space for Alice to open up, probing if she's scared of something.

Alice reveals that she sees “The Valya,” describing this entity as "a bit dead and a bit alive". She further states that she "tricks me into not playing".

When Jo asks she sees her as Valya, Alice declines and says that she sounds a bit different. To understand more, Jo encourages Alice to draw Valya.

The shock sets in as the drawn image depicts a woman in space donning an orange spacesuit, resembling the dead female cosmonaut Jo claims to have seen in space.

Jo asks Alice if she ever heard her talking about the Space incident, to which she denies, leading her to speculate that her experiences might not be indicative of psychosis but rather part of larger, mysterious phenomena.

What does Jo Ericsson do after knowing about Alice's dream?

Just when Jo was starting to doubt the validity of her experiences and question her own sanity, the revelation of Alice's dream makes her reconsider her original theory.

Determined to uncover the truth, she resolves not to return home and initiates her own investigation.

Her journey leads her to the Skagerrak Marine Observatory in Denmark, where she meets with Laurentz and Walborg, the individuals who sent her the tapes documenting her communications during her time in space along with the recording of a female cosmonaut from 1967.

The intrigue deepens as Jo uncovers astonishing revelations on the tapes, sparking questions about her very existence.

Five episodes of 'Constellation' are currently available to stream on Apple TV+.
