MAR VISTA, LOS ANGELES: Just 21 minutes before her crash, which put her in a coma, Anne Heche posed for a picture with a smile on her face alongside the owner of a store, who told New York Post that the actress was coherent and didn't appear to be inebriated. She crashed her car into a Mar Vista home a little before 11 am on Friday and has remained in critical condition after suffering serious burns because of the accident.

Richard Glass is a salon owner that asked Anne Heche for the picture as she was buying a $125 red-haired wig and other supplies at his place in Venice. He assures that he posted the image and his phone started blowing up a few hours later, with messges about the actress, when he originally just wanted to show everybody he had a "so random" visit from a Hollywood celebrity.

Anne Heche: HORRIFYING footage shows actress in car almost hit pedestrian before hurtling into LA home

Has Anne Heche been charged? Actress in critical condition, slipped into coma after fiery crash

"I didn't expect anything at all," Glass told the same news outlet after it was confirmed that the actress is under investigation for a possible hit and run and DUI in the near fatal high-speed crash she was involved. “She was polite, cordial and engaging and she was coherent,” insisted Glass. “It was extremely pleasant, she was a delight,” he said. About an hour after the crash into the house, nearly 60 firefighters rescued Heche from the wreckage of her small blue car in the neighborhood on LA's westside, just two miles from the salon. They also extinguished flames that enveloped the vehicle and left the house uninhabitable.

Videos taken before the crash show Heche speeding in the neighborhood, slamming into an apartment building’s garage, narrowly missing a pedestrian and hitting a Jaguar before winding up at the house in the 1700 block of South Walgrove Avenue. She is now under investigation by the LAPD, and authorities have obtained a search warrant for the actor’s blood drawn at the hospital to see whether she was intoxicated.

When Glass was asked if he spotted any signs of her being drunk or on drugs, he insisted firmly “Not at all.” Glass, who has owned his studio, Glass Hair, for 21 years, said it was the first time Heche had ever visited. “She came through the rear entrance of my studio while I was working on a client and said that she wanted a red wig,” he recalled. The one she liked “hadn’t been cut or styled,” and he told her if she came back later he would have it washed and conditioned and fully prepared, he said. “She said, ‘No worries, I’ll just take it now,'” he recalled, saying she bought special shampoo and conditioner for it, too, without saying why she wanted it. “She asked, ‘Haven’t we worked together before?’ and told me I was beautiful,” he recalled warmly. “The whole encounter was less than 10 minutes.”

He was shocked when he later found out what happened to his celeb shopper, saying all he could think when he heard about her crash was “what in the world?” Later, he noticed the red wig he sold in Heche’s car and also there appeared to be a bottle of booze.

In a recent podcast that has been deleted in the past days, Anne Heche admitted that she downed vodka and wine after being "rocked" by a very bad day, but her representatives told TMZ that the podcast had been recorded days before the crash. Right now the actress is in a coma, with significant pulmonary injury and burns that required surgical intervention. A fundraiser was organized for Lynn Mishele, the woman that got her house destroyed by Heche's crash, as of the time of this publication, the GoFundMe page has reached more than $120,000.
