ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA: A football game in southern California was going peacefully until a young man with an offensive message ran through the field but was apprehended by a man and was rammed into the grass. The teenage boy carried a flag with an offensive statement and disrupted the game. Just when he was about to make his exit, he was struck by a man who is believed to be a coach for one of the teams.

The Friday night football game, September 23, played by the Kennedy High School of La Palma and Katella High School was interrupted for a short time by a young man who carried a flag saying, 'I eat a**', which is believed to be a prank. The text which was spelled out in numbers and symbols was not perceived well. As the young boy almost reached the end of the field he was apprehended by an employee, possibly a coach of the Katella High School team, and rammed into the grass as reported by KTLA. The man applied enough force and pinned the youngster's neck with his knee, leading the viewers to believe that the coach would be fired for this.

The video of the incident was first shared with the outlet by Michele Schow who claims that the teen was knocked out by the force. She told KTLA, "The excessive force in the body slamming was unnecessary, witnessed by all the families, school staff and students." The incident garnered a huge reaction from the crowd. The video was later uploaded to a popular Instagram account House of Highlights where the man, believed to be a coach, was condemned for his actions. The game ended in a 39-0 loss for Katella.

One user who was angry with this move wrote, "All I'm saying is it's not that serious to do that much damage to a person that ran across the field especially when it's not a professional game on TV." On the other hand, there were some users who seemed to be comfortable with this incident. One user said, "My type of coach. Lead by example!" Another user wrote, "Naw don’t try to hit the fence, come eat this grass since you wanna play on the football field!" Another user commended the coach saying, "it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish."
