'Christmas A La Mode': Release date, cast, plot, trailer, and everything you need to know about this sweet holiday romance on Lifetime

Turn on Lifetime channel and it’s going to look a lot like Christmas pretty soon with 'Christmas a la Mode' gracing our TV screens in a month's time.

There's no more festive time of year than Christmas, which over the years has been regularly used as a backdrop for romantic movies providing moviegoers with an abundance of warm-and-fuzzy cheer. Keeping this tradition alive is Lifetime which is all set to bring moviegoers 28 new holiday movies starting from the end of October, all the way through till Christmas. 

One amongst those movies is 'Christmas A La Mode' a Christmas miracle movie. Turn on Lifetime channel and it’s going to look a lot like Christmas pretty soon.

Release date: 

'Christmas A La Mode' will premiere on November 15th, 2019 only on Lifetime Network. 

Plot: 

According to Lifetime, the movie revolves around Emily who has been running her family's dairy farm ever since her father passed away. "Emily has been running her family's dairy farm with the help of her mother and best friend. But this Christmas the farm has fallen on hard times so Emily's sister, Dorothy--who is part owner with Emily--and her handsome business partner, Charlie, show up with a proposition to sell the farm. Emily comes up with an ingenious plan to buy out her sister's shares and hold an online holiday ice cream flavor contest that goes viral with the help of a key ingredient, Charlie's amazing apple pie. Christmas a la Mode ice cream is born! Still as the Christmas Eve deadline for the buyout approaches, Emily needs a Christmas miracle to save the farm and her father's legacy in time for a happy Christmas."

Katie Leclerc is an actress and producer who has appeared on various TV shows including  'Veronica Mars', 'Fashion House', 'Switched at Birth' and 'The Big Bang Theory'. In 2013 she won a TwoCents TV Award for Drama Queens for her role in the series 'Switched at Birth'.

Ryan Cooper is an actor who was born in an Australian missionary family. He is known for his role as Jake Bolin the 'Flirtual Killer' on MTV's Eye Candy. Prior to his acting career, he worked as a carpenter for six years, after which he was featured in DKNY's jeans campaign with Behati Prinsloo.
