The singer doesn’t mind a little help
Christina seems to have evolved ever since chart-topper ‘Beautiful’, a song about accepting oneself, won a Grammy in 2002. More than 20 years later, the 42-year-old singer still stays true to herself while looking into options that help her look and feel her best. In light of the events, she opens up to People in an interview about her first-ever partnership with Xeomin.
The 42-year-old singer was asked about her collaboration with Xeomin and Merz Aesthetics in an interview with Allure that was published on Thursday, March 2. “I think it’s great to share and to be honest and open about what you’re doing — in your comfort zone, of course,” she explained. “I’ve always been a pretty open book about embracing my body, my looks, and things like that.”
Is Christina getting older naturally?
The superstar singer recently collaborated with the FDA-approved anti-wrinkle injection Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA), which temporarily lowers frown lines. She claimed that she believes the injections help give her a "natural look", making her appear and stay young.
The mother of two added, 'We like expression, especially in my line of work. I don't want to have a frozen face. Whether it's being on-camera or performing onstage, I have to stay authentic to my emotions." She also urges women to be confident and states that thinking negatively about getting older is an outdated perspective.
Aging beautifully with anti-aging
Despite being outspoken about her use of Xeomin, the performer admitted that she is often very reserved when talking about cosmetic surgeries. “But everyone should do what feels right for them”, she said. However, the ‘Lady Marmalade’ singer clarified that the injections are double-filtered to ensure that no unintended substances enter her system while working with the medical brand.
The singer of ‘Fighter’ who has a son named Max, 15, with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman and a daughter named Summer, 8, with Matthew Rutler, provided more information about her collaboration with the ‘Beauty on Your Terms’ campaign on Instagram.
