Melania Trump's lack of active response to the coronavirus outbreak in the nation was slammed by model Chrissy Teigen, who launched an expletive-laden tirade against the FLOTUS on social media.

Teigen, who has always been an ardent criticizer of President Donald Trump, took to Twitter to unleash her frustration over Melania Trump shifting her focus on setting up the White House tennis pavilion at a time when the number of coronavirus cases in the US continues to grow at an alarming rate.

"Has Melania even thought about doing something with her be best s**t during these times?" Teigen wrote a profanity-laced Twitter thread on Tuesday, March 17. "I see regular a** awesome people on my timeline all day doing all they can to make people happy and this wifebot is working on whatever the f**k a tennis gazebo is."

Teigen was referring to Melania's tweet on March 7, where she shared an update about the construction of the private tennis pavilion on the South Lawn of the White House, supervised by her, which would serve as a "place to gather and spend leisure time for First Families."

Many social media users at the time thought that the tweet was tone-deaf, given the current situation of the nation. However, after receiving backlash for her post at the time, the first lady clapped back at the haters through another tweet.

"I encourage everyone who chooses to be negative (and) question my work at the ⁦‪@WhiteHouse⁩ to take time and contribute something good (and) productive in their own communities," she wrote.

She finally broke her silence on Twitter on March 11, drawing a lot of flak from angry social media users.

"Our great country is fighting hard against the #Coronavirus. This nation is strong & ready & we will overcome. Please take action to prevent further spread. Visit http://cdc.gov for updated health info & updates," she tweeted, linking the website for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Teigen did not stop with Melania and later also dragged the POTUS in her hate-filled post.

"I expect Donald to be a do nothing f**king loser wimp but she could maybe possibly try to uhhh BE BETTER possibly the best be the best the best be best," Teigen said, wrote in another tweet. "ALL I have seen this bot do is gently touch Christmas ornaments in a cape and stare in a cape and pat statues in a different cape and then change her cape into a rude ass jacket. F**k you," she added.
