Todd Chrisley has 'nothing but love for first-born' Lindsie, who has accused him of harassing her with an alleged sex tape
'Chrisley Knows Best' star Todd Chrisley has claimed that he is willing to forgive his estranged daughter even though she had accused him of trying to extort her with an alleged sex tape. After denying the rumors, Todd claimed that no matter what she does he would always love her as she is his first-born.
Todd, who had recently sat down with his wife Julie Chrisley for an episode of their podcast, 'Chrisley Confessions', said, "Now as far as our oldest daughter Lindsie goes, I will say to you that we are saying nothing other than that we love Lindsie," Todd said.
"She will always be my daughter, that will never change, she is my first-born child. She is loved and this is her moment for her to say whatever she wants to say, regardless of whether it's true or not."
Lindsie had filed a police report against Chrisley and his son – her brother – Chase in July in which she claimed the duo was harassing and threatening her with a sex tape that allegedly featured her and 'Bachelorette' star, Robby Hayes. They were allegedly trying to manipulate her into lying about a certain "incident".
Sources claimed that the "incident" has something to do with the Chrisley family's recent legal troubles. Todd had initially released a statement claiming how it is unfortunate that these allegations were aired in public. He seems to be in a more forgiving and reflective mood currently.
"She's forgiven for what has happened in the last week-to-10 days. She is forgiven for what has happened in the investigation that she has contributed to. She is forgiven for what she is going to do today or tomorrow. At the end of the day, I am her father. And clearly the feelings I have had for her entire life are not reciprocal. And that's heartbreaking," said the reality star, who along with his wife pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of tax evasion and fraud charges last week, and were released on $100,000 bonds.
