'Childish Gambino returns': Fans excited as Donald Glover promises more music at Golden Globes
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Donald Glover, who released his last studio album ‘3.15.20’ back in March 2020, will make music once again as Childish Gambino. Announcing it on the red carpet of the 80th edition of Golden Globes on Tuesday, January 10, the 39-year-old star, who got nominated for 'Best actor for Musical or Comedy' in 'Atlanta,' said that he’s "been bringing secret people" in to work with him.
"But I've just been like, making it for a month right now. But soon something will happen. I promise something will happen,” said Glover, as stated by NBC. Following his announcement, fans were quick to react with one saying, "This is the kind of news I was hoping for in 2023." Another continued to say, "Best news of 2023," while one more wrote, "Ohhhhh sh*t. Here we go. Best news I’ve heard in a while."

The announcement comes after his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In March 2022, where he said, "I’m making a lot of music. I really love doing it; I’ve made a bunch of it. It’s just really about how to experience it at this point. It used to just flow, but now I have kids – so nothing flows any more! … Nothing’s as easy as it used to be. So I do block off time now, because I want to be here for [my children] at this time."
The actor, writer and singer is a father of three and is with his ong-time partner Michelle White. As per Romper, it is not confirmed, if the duo who are together since 2015, are married or not.
