LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The "Goddess of Pop" Cher, and Alexander 'AE' Edwards have reportedly split after dating for more than six months. The 76-year-old singer and the 37-year-old music executive ended their relationship a few weeks ago.
Although rumors related to their engagement surfaced over the past few months, TMZ reports that sources clearly revealed that this was not the case. The rumors were triggered when the singer shared a massive diamond ring gifted by Edwards for Christmas. However, the reason for their split is unknown; sources said that they were never actually engaged and decided to "play into the speculation it was an engagement ring." Cher has not been active on social media platforms since March and is yet to make a comment on their breakup.

When did Cher and Edwards first meet?
In late September 2022, Cher and Edwards first met at Paris Fashion Week, but they first pictured together back in early November 2022. In the same month, Cher was seen holding hands with him outside West Hollywood hotspot Craig's, before heading to The Nice Guy.
Cher admitted their relationship later that month, saying it "looks strange on paper" though she added, "love doesn't know math." When a fan asked Cher about Edwards' best qualities, she said, "He's kind, smart, hilarious... & we kiss like teenagers." Cher has married a couple of times before and has a son, Chaz Bono, 53, with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono who died in 1998 at age 62 from injuries suffered after hitting a tree while skiing.

The music executive is best known for being in a relationship with Kanye West's ex Amber Rose, 39, with whom he shares a three-year-old son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. Amber accused the producer of having affairs with 12 different people in August last year, and he later admitted to cheating on her on social media.
