Kirstie Alley's bizarre condolence tweet for Stephen Hawking resurfaces after actress' death at 71
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An old tweet from Kirstie Alley, the 71-year-old actress who died after a battle with cancer on Monday, December 5, has been resurfacing on the Internet. On March 14, 2018, the 'Cheers' actress tweeted about the death of renowned physicist Stephen Hawking, who died after a long battle with ALS, writing, “You had a good go at it..thanks for your input," reported Daily Mail.
Many thought at that time her tweet was disrespectful, following which she faced a lot of criticism, as per the news outlet. One of them wrote, "Super disrespectful Kirstie- just ..... WOW." Another wrote, "It’s as though Kirstie Alley has inserted herself into this to be final confirmation. It’s so heartless in the least emotional way. I can’t stop thinking about her writing it."
