Charlie Sheen spotted grabbing smoothies on rare outing with twins Bob and Max in Malibu
MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Charlie Sheen appeared in good spirits as he enjoyed a rare public outing with his 14-year-old twin sons on Tuesday, March 29. The 'Two and a Half Men' star, 57, was seen grabbing smoothies in Malibu with Bob and Max, whom he shares with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
Sheen kept the smoothie run casual in a black hoodie that he paired with blue sweatpants. The actor completed his low-key look with blue sneakers, a black baseball cap, and dark sunglasses. One of the teenagers matched his father's relaxed look in a light grey Bob Marley graphic T-shirt and dark grey sweatpants. He tied his navy sweatshirt around his waist and accessorized his look with orange sneakers and black sunglasses. The twins munched on a bag of chips while strolling through a parking lot with Sheen and his brother, who is seen in the pictures disguised behind their father, according to Page Six.

Why did Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller call it quits?
Sheen and Mueller welcomed the twins in March 2009 during their 2-year-long tumultuous marriage. The former couple tied the knot in May 2008 but decided to call it quits in December 2009, when Sheen was arrested for assaulting Mueller on Christmas Day. The ‘Witch House’ actor filed for divorce in November 2010, and it was finalized in May 2011. However, the exes continued to battle each other in court over the child support issue that recently got resolved after Sheen filed a request to pay less to his children in 2018, DailyMail reported.

At that time, Sheen, who has battled addiction and is HIV-positive, requested that he couldn't afford to pay $55,000 per month for his and Brooke's twins as he is already paying $20,000 per month to his former ex-wife Denise Richards for their two daughters, Sami, 19, and Lola, 17. “I have been unable to find steady work and have been blacklisted from many aspects of the entertainment industry,” he wrote at the time, according to the Blast. “All of this has resulted in a significant reduction in my earnings.”
However, soon after the plea, US Weekly noted that Charlie and Brooke had finally resolved their argument, albeit the financial details were withheld. “Mr. Sheen and Ms. Mueller recognize together the great benefit to their children in peacefully, privately coming to terms focused on the family’s overall best interests,” Sheen’s attorney, Gregory J Pedrick, Esq, told Us Weekly in 2022. “They should be applauded for making that happen.”
