The D'Amelio sisters 'freaked out' after meeting YouTube sensation David Dobrik. It was a nervous moment for the most popular duo on TikTok and were seen visibly shy and timid around Dobrik at the beginning of his latest interview. According to Dexerto, the sisters are actually superfans and while they had met beforehand, there were still enough nerves.

The site also added that Dobrick noticed how nervous the two were. "These two walked in here so f***ing nervous," he said. "They still kind of are but you walked in here… didn’t make a single sound… why?" he added. Dexerto said the story was completely accurate.

Dobrik Facetimed the sisters when looking to get them on 'Views', his new show, and soon after the chat, Dixie and Charli FaceTimed each other with the former saying: "We were both freaking out. We’ve both met you before but we were freaking out. You’re David Dobrik."

"We grew up watching you," Charli added. "I watched you every day before school. I’ve seen all of your vlogs." David was shocked, describing their stories as the sweetest thing. "I just can’t wrap my head around it."

At the first meeting, months prior to the release of the new video, the D’Amelio sisters met Dobrik with Addison Rae. "Addison said when you guys went to the bathroom you had a freak out in there," he explained to them.

This story, the site said, was totally accurate. "I didn’t know how to act," Dixie joked when they met first. "I was absolutely losing my mind. I was freaking out." According to Rae, they also added: "We never told you this because we were embarrassed, but we just went into the bathroom and had a little panic attack."

Born on May 1, 2004, Charli became a household name and started making headlines for her dancing videos on TikTok in 2019. From the first clip where she's lip-syncing in video with her friend to gaining over 75 million followers on the platform, Charli has sure come a long way.

With 1 million Instagram followers, 6.04 million YouTube subscribers, and 3.5 million Twitter followers, she soared to popularity with her dancing skills, especially freestyle improv that has seemed to appear masses unlike anything else. On March 25, 2020, Charli even toppled fellow TikToker Loren Gray to become the most popular account on the app. Dixie D'Amelio has more than 23 million followers on TikTok.
