LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlamagne tha God has received widespread criticisms from people online after suggesting Kanye West won’t “be here much longer”. During the Thursday, October 27, episode of his podcast ‘The Brilliant Idiots’, the radio personality had a conversation with co-host Andrew Schulz.

When Schulz shared, “He talks about this relationship he has with God. And now I realize that’s the only relationship he got,” Charlamagne stated, “He need to start really leaning into God, cause nothing he’s doing is of God. Nothing I’ve seen him do is of God.”

The 38-year-old stand-up comedian then continued, “Literally was like, ‘It’s just me and God.’ And it’s like, ‘You got kids, bro.’” To which, Charlamagne mentioned: “I hope that this is what helps him to go find some real healing because clearly he’s hurting. Right? And I just — I don’t see this ending well. I feel like he’s moving like a person who doesn’t feel like he’s gonna be here much longer. You know what I mean?”

Schulz then asked, “How much longer.” The 44-year-old said: “I’m not even doing that, but I just — I just feel like he’s moving — I just feel like he’s moving like a person who’s not gonna be here much longer,” before adding, “He is on a quest for white validation. Here’s the thing, and I think that’s what I wanted to say earlier… Kanye doesn’t love anybody because Kanye doesn’t love himself.” But Charlamagne’s views did not go down well with many of his listeners.

A Twitter user said, “That @cthagod talk about Kanye saying he won’t be around any longer is not it. For someone who have advocated for mental health. That’s not something you should wish on someone.#Kanye #charlamagne #loveye.” The second user wrote: “#Charlamagne how can you say such a thing about #Kanye. Are telling us what we don’t know?… or you doing the usually corny shit you are known for🤦🏽‍♂️ You’ve showed nothing but hatred to #Ye.” The third one suggested, “The Way Charlamagne Talk Abt Kanye You’d Think Kanye Really Did Something to Him Behind The Scenes 🅿️⚜️.” “who made charlamagne the overseer of all things kanye,” the fourth user stated.

“Did Charlamagne take his jewhada or something? He mentions Kanye daily,” another person tweeted. The next tweet asserted, “It seems like Charlamagne tha God enjoys seeing Kanye West downfall🫠.”

Earlier, it was reported that Ye had called Charlamagne and complained to him about Kim Kardashian’s ex Pete Davidson. The rapper told Charlamagne: “My wife is out here f–king a white boy with a 10-inch penis, and you won’t help me? My wife is out here f–king a white boy with a 10-inch penis, and you telling me that’s your friend but you’re supposed to be culture?”

A person had tweeted after that, “I fw Charlamagne but why he throw Kanye under the bus like that with that Pete Davidson shit? I can see if it was said via interview but to share that from a private 1 on 1 phone call… idk mannnn.” Another one added, “Ah. It's all about penis envy?"
