Channing Tatum's dating history: 'Magic Mike' star says he 'doesn't know' if he'll marry again
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Channing Tatum has revealed that he has no plans to be married a second time. The 42-year-old actor opened up in a Vanity Fair interview about his views on marriage and confessed, "I don't know if I'm ever going to get married again."
The 'Magic Mike' star elaborated on topics like love, life, and feminism in the interview. He also spoke with the magazine about some of the difficulties he has had when in love. "Relationships are hard for me," Tatum, who is presently dating Zoe Kravitz, said. "Even though I am a bit of a monogamist. In business, I have no real fear of anything being destroyed. But heart things, when it comes to people I love, I have a really hard time. I end up trying too hard, you know?" He continued by mentioning how, in 2021, he soon gained notoriety as a result of social media users discovering that he followed numerous Kravtiz fan accounts.

The '21 Jump Street' star said, "I have no chill. I was just seeing what she was up to! Also, I didn't know anyone would know." He admitted that his primary goal at the moment is to relax and said, "So I can actually experience these moments, instead of just trying to change it or something. Or being afraid that it's not going to work out how I wanted or something."
Channing Tatum's first marriage
Tatum and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan first became acquainted while working together on the 2006 film 'Step Up'; they later began dating and got married on July 11, 2009. Nine years of marriage later, the spark that had ignited their desire to get married had died. They filed for divorce in April of 2018 as reported by The Blast.
Tatum talked about his divorce from Dewan, with whom he shares his daughter Everly, age nine. He said that even though they both fought for their marriage "for a really long time," they both understood that they "had sort of grown apart."
Tatum shared, "I think we told ourselves a story when we were young, and we just kept telling ourselves that story, no matter how blatantly life was telling us that we were so different. But when you're actually parents... you really understand differences between the two of you."
Tatum continued by admitting how "super scary and terrifying" the breakup was because the plan he had for his life "had literally just turned into sand" and "went through [his] fingers." However, the actor admitted that he had come to the realization that his divorce was "probably exactly what [he] needed."
Channing Tatum's dating history
Tatum, who has admitted to being a serial monogamist, has only had a handful of devoted relationships. He reportedly started dating the 'Price Tag' singer Jessie J after his first known relationship with Dewan ended in 2018. Currently, 'The Vow' actor is dating Zoe Kravitz.
Jessie J
Tatum had an on-and-off relationship with Jessie J after divorcing his former wife Dewan. Their relationship was made public after his appearance at 'The Voice' UK judge's performances in Salt Lake City and Seattle in October 2018.
Tatum and Jessie J decided to officially end their relationship in April 2020 following a brief separation in December 2019. A source revealed, "Channing and Jessie have different priorities and focuses that don't really align. They had a fun relationship but it just didn't work out," as reported by People.
The source added, "Channing needs to be in LA a lot so he can spend time with Everly. Jessie prefers England, they are still friendly though. It's totally amicable. They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on."
Zoe Kravitz
Tatum and Kravitz first ignited dating rumors in August 2021 before officially announcing their relationship in October 2021. They struck up a friendship over the script for the film 'P***y Island' early in 2021, which they both are now working on.
Tatum said, "I thought it was super punk rock. She had passion in there, and she had a point of view that was really specific to who she was and what her experience was. But I wasn't sure it was clear yet, what it wanted to be."
Kravitz also spoke about her new boyfriend, Tatum, and all of their shared interests, during a GQ interview in November 2022. "He's just a wonderful human. He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do. We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other," she said.
