Chanel Iman goes Instagram official with Davon Godchaux after split from Sterling Shepard
Chanel Iman is not afraid to show the world the man she loves. The model went Instagram official with the New England Patriots' Davon Godchaux and showed that she had finally moved on from her estranged husband, New York Giants' Sterling Shepard, after ending their marriage of four years.
Chanel gave fans a glimpse into her new relationship with Godchaux as she and the football pro posted a picture of her wrapped up in his arms on Sunday, April 17. They both shared pics of themselves indulging in a little PDA at Coachella's Revolve Festival.

In one of the pictures posted by the Victoria's Secret Angel, she looked gorgeous in a black top and tiny shorts that ended high on her thigh. Her beau wore a black shirt and hat and black and grey striped shorts while he held Iman from behind. The couple looked so happy in the picture, with Iman smiling as Godchaux planted a soft kiss on her cheek. "@revolve # revolvefestival," she captioned the photo.
Godchaux responded in the comments, "I love you [finger crossed emoji, tongue emoji]." Then, he later posted series of photos from the festival, the same picture that Iman posted, another snap of him kissing Iman's cheek during night events of the festival and a third snap which showed the pair packing on the PDA in front of the Hollywood sign on his Instagram, with the caption, "Mines👅❤️."
But, before her budding romance with Godchaux, Iman was married to Shepard. After being completely in love with each other back in December 2017, Sterling had popped the question with a rose gold ring on Chanel's 27th birthday. After a whirlwind four-month engagement, the runway model and the New York Giants wide receiver got married in an intimate ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2018. Then, the pair happily welcomed their first daughter, Cali, five months later in August 2018 and another daughter, Cassie, in December 2019.
But after being married for four years, things started getting rocky and the couple decided to go separate ways in the summer of 2021. Page Six reported that Sterling filed for divorce in June 2021, citing irreconcilable differences, but the two intend to remain teammates, and will work out their plan on how they will co-parent their daughters peacefully. A report by Us Weekly also claims that the couple are going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other during the divorce procedure as well as after. Godchaux is Iman's first lover since her split from Shepard and she looked very much happy and in love with him.
