Celebrity break-ups and reconciliations aren’t a new thing and especially when it comes to Rihanna. Speaking of her, a pregnant Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were rumored to have broken up this week after she realized he was cheating on her. The rumors began on Twitter and quickly spread across social media and among their fan base. Fortunately, the rumors were found to be untrue. Along with it, the rumor ‘preacher’ Louis Pisano was dragged online, and in turn, the fashion writer released a noteworthy apology.

After tweeting that A$AP was "caught cheating" on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, fashion writer Louis Pisano has now apologized. Pisano is a fashion commentator, writer, racial justice and LGBTQ+ advocate. Pisano's pronouns are they/them. Pisano has featured in Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and is a member of Black Lives Matter.

On April 15, 2022, Pisano tweeted, "Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received," adding, "I'm not going to talk about sources or blame others for a debate that started because, at the end of the day, I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send, and put it out with my name on it." They continued, “I’d like to formally apologize to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets.”

"Rihanna broke up with [ASAP] after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi," Pisano stated in a since-deleted tweet on Thursday April 14, 2022 sparking rumors that Rocky and Rihanna had broken up. "Amina designed Fenty's footwear line, and Rihanna is frequently seen wearing custom shoes from her own label," they claimed. The false statements sparked outrage on social media, but Muaddi instantly rejected the cheating allegations in a message uploaded to her Instagram story on Friday, April 15.

"I've always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn't deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile," Muaddi stated in the post. “I initially assumed that this fake gossip - fabricated with such malicious intent - would not be taken seriously." She added, “Therefore I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for.” She continued, “While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best-dressed pregnancy life and I got back to my business - I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”

After the apology, many Rihanna and A$AP Rocky fans slammed Pisano on Twitter and sent love to the pair. One user wrote, “I hope Rihanna, Rocky and Amina sue him so bad for allegations and defamation. Bringing distress upon a pregnant woman and Amina being harassed by rih army. I hope louis pisano goes to hell.”

Another person stated, “Louis Pisano just proved how fast a lie can spread All over social media… fashion “influencer” mfs with too much time on their hands I stg … anyways back to reality 😁”, while another said, “Louis Pisano is a very  lying , jealous , wicked ,selfish,  childish person who need to be sued for defamation ! A person who has been defamed can sue the person who did the defaming for damages. This is a very serious issues. She definitely need to be dealt with legally.”
