His ancestral roots can be traced to Krio people from Sierra Leone, Yoruba people from Nigeria and Limba people from Sierra Leone.

On the romantic front, our beloved King of Wakanda was taken in 2019. A MediaTakeOut report said the actor popped the question to his longtime love Taylor Simone Ledward on a date in Malibu and she said yes. “Chadwick and Simone got engaged,” the friend shared. “It was a long time coming and everyone is really happy.” The same source also revealed that the two were hoping to get hitched early in 2020. It was only a couple of months ago that fans were bewildered after Chadwick appeared in an Instagram video looking “frail” and “hungry” even as only his upper body and neck could be seen. The hashtag #ChadwickBoseman soon started trending on Twitter. As no one really knew the reality about his health, many fans speculated it was because he was naturally thin and only bulked up for ‘Black Panther’.

His last released movie 'Da 5 Bloods' by Spike Lee had to be streamed on Netflix on June 12 this year due to Covid-19. The film is directed by George C Wolfe and Denzel Washington is one of the producers. The report further states that it might be released later this year, and it was being discussed that Boseman’s performance was worth an Oscar nomination.
