Within a little time, that we have spent in the new decade, the entertainment industry has already been lit up and adorned by celebrity weddings arriving right from the onset of the new year. Be it Kathy Griffin's last-minute engagement announcement followed by the wedding to her long term boyfriend Randy Bick, or Riverdale's Vanessa Morgan tying the knot with her basketball pro husband in the most intimate ceremony ever - celebrity weddings have come in style and sashayed Hollywood's finest into some of the classiest events ever.

Without further ado, here are the celebrities that got married this year.

Kathy Griffin and Randy Bick

The ace comedian kicked off New Year's Eve announcing that she is engaged to boyfriend, Bick, and just moments after stepping into 2020, the couple started their year with the ultimate bang of all - a wedding. What's better? The ceremony was officiated by none other than Lily Tomlin.

Riverdale's queen bee and Cherry Blossom's reel-life girlfriend Toni Topaz aka Morgan, married her real-life beau, basketball pro-Kopech in front of the 35 people closest to them. The couple's friends and family gathered at the Historic Walton House in Florida, on January 4, to witness the two approach this new chapter of their lives.

Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters

In a story cut-out for tabloids, January 20 saw Anderson marry Hollywood producer, Peters, whom she had dated some 30 years ago. "He’s been there all along. Never failed me – I’m ready now and he’s ready too," she had said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter at the time, after tying the knot in a Malibu ceremony, adding: "We understand and respect each other. We love each other without conditions. I’m a lucky woman. Proof God has a plan."

Incidentally enough, just 12 days later, Anderson and Peters got divorced, and ever since, the details of their sudden wedding have been splashed all over the internet, with Peters claiming he had paid off all of Anderson's debts right before their marriage ended. Now, just three weeks later, Peters has already gone back to being engaged to his old flame before marrying Anderson, and called himself an 'old fool'.

Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters

Talk about a destination wedding! Tebow and Nel-Peters traveled all the way to Cape Town in the latter's native - South Africa, on January 20 to tie the knot.

The Houston Texans defensive end, Watt, got hitched to his pro soccer player girlfriend, Ohai, to become Mr and Mrs in a February 15 wedding ceremony that was crafted for Pinterest boards and Instagram. Displaying and marking their day of love and happiness, Watt took to Instagram to share their slew of wedding photos with the caption, "Best day of my life. Without question."

Happy are we are for the newlyweds, that still doesn't contain our excitement for the big celebrity weddings we are looking forward to throughout 2020. From Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez to Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, and Elizabeth Olsen - here are some of the biggest names in Hollywood gearing up to tie the knot this year.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

Taking it to Instagram, the pop icon and her baseball pro beau announced their engagement in March 2019, via photos of their dreamy Bahamian proposal. Lopez’s 16-carat emerald diamond implies the wedding is going to be no less lavish, and with Ellen DeGeneres offering to be her Maid of Honour one can only imagine the fest that the ceremony will be.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

Perry was in 'full bloom' as she announced her engagement to the actor over an Instagram photo flaunting the unique and massive ruby that Bloom slid onto her finger after Valentine's Day proposal during a helicopter ride in 2019. The ride ended in a surprise party which was all heart balloons with pink tinsel curtains and attended by the industry's big names - only suggesting a gala wedding to come.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

As the Royal family continues to cope with Megxit, it is time for another elaborate royal wedding as the Queen niece - Princess Beatrice is about to tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, after being family friends for many years. British jewelry designer Shaun Leane's very art-deco rendition of an engagement ring for the princess speaks volumes for the extravaganza we can expect.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost

Last year has been a gigantic one for Scar Jo and things are only getting better with 2020, as the actress is about to marry her 'Saturday Night Live' veteran fiance Jost, after getting engaged in May 2019, following a two-year romance.

Emma Stone and Dave McCary

We learned of Stone and McCary's upcoming wedding via the sweetest ever Instagram post in December 2019. Their very low-profile relationship started in 2017 and considering it has evolved into a Kataoka pearl engagement ring, their wedding party can also be expected to be bejeweled indeed!

Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett
