‘Celebrity IOU’ Season 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about HGTV's home makeover show
There's something about 'Celebrity IOU' that makes it impossible not to love the show. Featuring the Property Brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott, the series sees a list of celebrities give back to the people who matter the most to them, by helping them with a home makeover or renovation. Over the past two seasons, we've seen a range of celebrities whose story has been absolutely lovely.
Season 1 saw Brad Pitt surprise his makeup artist of over 30 years with a detached garage renovation, Melissa McCarthy gave her aunt and uncle's home an update, Viola Davis gifted her friend a home makeover, Micheal Buble helps his late grandfather's caretaker with a place to stay, Rebel Wilson helped her newly married hairstylist renovate her backyard and Jeremy Renner gave his mom's condo an update, all of which was made possible thanks to the Scott brothers.
Season 2 was just as heartwarming, with Zooey Deschanel renovating her best friend's cramped home, Allison Janney helps out her assistant and friend of 20 years, Justin Hartley gifted an old and dear friend a backyard update and finally, Rainn Wilson surprised his son's former nanny with a home makeover. While it's the Scott brothers who help make all the changes possible, it's extremely heartwarming to see these celebrities talk about the people who've made such a huge difference to their lives.
It's make for great reality TV where you get a rare chance to see these famous individuals be vulnerable, as they talk about these very real relationships and just how much they matter to them.
While there has been no official announcement regarding Season 3, we have our fingers crossed. We cant wait to see a new list of celebs, cool home makeovers and beautiful stories.

Plot
Season 3 is likely to follow the same plot as Seasons 1 and 2 — famous celebrities join forces with the property brothers to help give back to the people in their lives who've helped make a difference for the better.
Cast
Ever since brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott hit TV screens with their multiple home maker shows, they've been an instant fan favourite. The twins both bring something unique to the table with their skills and expertise, and when combined, they're a real estate force to be reckoned with. The brothers have changed a number of lives over the years through their renovations and real estate work.
Drew Scott
The younger of the two brothers by four minutes, Drew Scott's area of expertise lies in scouting real estate properties. He also handles the business side of their transactions, dealing with purchasing and negotiations.
Jonathan Scott
The older of the twins, Jonathan Scott is a licensed contractor. He handles all the construction and furnishing work that comes with each project.
