'Undercover Boss': Why is the CBS show not airing today? When will it be back?
Friday nights are meant for curling up on the couch and bawling your eyes out while watching 'Undercover Boss' Season 10. CBS' hit reality show has the ability to move even the coldest of hearts by sharing gut-wrenching stories of employees who work in huge corporations or popular retail chains. At the end, when these hard-working employees are rewarded, it's hard to hold back your tears, and not feel happy for the employee finally getting their due recognition. However, if you tuned in tonight hoping to catch up on the latest episode of 'Undercover Boss', you would have noticed that instead of your favorite show some other local program was airing.
Although neither the show's producers nor CBS announced the reason behind the change in programming, the network's website and the show's Twitter page continue to show 'Undercover Boss' air time as 9/8C on Fridays. So, we might get to catch the next episode on November 6, at 9/8c on CBS. The upcoming episode will be featuring Adrian Perkins, the mayor of Shreveport, LA.
"On December 29, 2018, Adrian Perkins was installed as the second-youngest mayor of Shreveport, the third-largest city in Louisiana, with about 200,000 residents. Perkins oversees 13 city departments and approximately 3,000 city employees. He became mayor of his hometown at the age of 33, after graduating from West Point, serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and getting a degree from Harvard Law School," shared CBS on its website about Perkins.
The previous episode featured popular smoothie bar chains — Smoothie King's CEO — Wan Kim Wan visited various franchises of the smoothie bar and discovered some flaws in the adherence to protocols, and was also taken aback on hearing that the employees weren't completely on board with some of the new initiatives and strategies introduced to accelerate and grow the business further. Towards the end of the episode, Wan promised to himself that the employees would be explained all about a strategy or a new initiative before it's formally rolled out, so that they understand the importance of it, and are able to convey the same to the customers.
'Undercover Boss' Season 10 airs every Friday at 9/8c only on CBS.
