'The Greatest #StayAtHome Videos': Release date, plot, cast and all you need to know about the CBS show on viral videos

Months into the COVID-19 crisis, self-quarantine continues to be an effective measure to combat the virus. Countries have been under lockdown for a while now. Not only has it helped the world inch towards flattening the curve but it has also pushed people to be more creative and use their time efficiently. As a result of which the internet is flooded with funny, inspirational and heartwarming videos of people at home trying to entertain themselves as well those they share these clips with. CBS has access to some of the most interesting videos and will be showing them as compilations on the channel.
Release date
Titled 'The Greatest #StayAtHome Videos', the show airs on May 15, Friday at 8/ 7c.
Plot
The one-hour special will not only air viral videos but also loop in some charity work. "For each video selected as part of the show, CBS will give a monetary donation toward a qualifying charity of the participants' choice," a statement by the channel read.
Cast
The show will be hosted by 'The Neighborhood' fame Cedric The Entertainer. His job will be to guide the audience through the videos, give them an interesting and witty lowdown of what can be expected of each of these videos.

Jodi Roth, who is the Senior Vice President, Specials, CBS, said in a statement that the show is a true celebration of the human spirit. "The ingenuity and creativity displayed in these videos is impressive, while also highlighting our spirit and resilience as a community during this unique moment in time," she added.
