'Tube Time!': Catherine Zeta-Jones looks unrecognizable as she sneaks onto empty London Underground train
LONDON, ENGLAND: Catherine Zeta-Jones ditched the A-list celeb life as she uploaded a video of herself riding the London Underground, surprising her fans on social media. The actress, 53, was unrecognizable as she smiled at the camera while sporting a tweed coat and matching baker boy hat and accessorizing with a scarf and oversized sunglasses.
“Please take your belongings with you when leaving the train,” a female announcer is heard saying on the PA system, before the actress declares, "When you’re the only one on the Tube and you’re very happy." She then turns her camera to reveal an empty tube. “London, just me, on public transport," she adds.

BAFTA appearance
This comes shortly after Catherine's appearance at the BAFTA Film Awards 2023 in London at the weekend. The acclaimed thespian, from Wales, lives in New York with her husband, Hollywood great Michael Douglas, 78. She was reportedly invited to present Best Picture to the German war film 'All Quiet On The Western Front', which bagged seven gongs at the annual award ceremony. Catherine shared a series of photos from the red carpet at the posh event. “Honoured to be back in my home country amongst such talent to present Best Picture to ‘All Quiet On The Western Front’ Bravo! Thank you," she wrote in the caption.
Net worth
Catherine Zeta-Jones reportedly has a net worth of $150 million. She was notably paid $3 million for her role in 'Traffic' in 2000, and an eyewatering $8 million for 'Chicago' just two years later. The brunette bombshell also made a fortune from endorsements, including her deal with T-Mobile where she earned a reported $10 million. What's more? The actress also has millions tied-up in properties she shares with her husband.
Home life
Michael recently opened up about how he and Catherine managed to strike a balance between family life and A-list acting gigs. The 78-year-old legend explained that they have always tried to take big jobs at different times in order to avoid conflicting schedules, especially when their children were young. The doting couple, who took the holy vows back in 2000, have two children together, namely Carys, 18, and Dylan, 20. Michael is also a father to Cameron, 44, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker. During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine, the actor insisted there wasn't any competition between the spouses and that they simply worked on their own projects.
"I don't know about that [competition]... I think we both do our own things," Michael said. "We try and do it at different times so when the kids were younger, so we could be there. But no competition, Catherine's going to do another year of Wednesday and a lot of other projects right now." He added, "Truth be told, my kids couldn't see the films I've made. It's another generation of fans, it's as close as you get to immortality, a bunch of kids now know who you were before, that part is fun."
