MIAMI, FLORIDA: Camila Cabello and Austin Kevitch broke up after reportedly dating for 8 months. The premium dating app informed its customers in a newsletter that "Austin is single again, on Wednesday, February 15," according to several reports. Kevitch launched 'Lox Club', a members-only dating app that has been dubbed the "Jewish Raya" in 2020 despite the fact that non-Jewish hopeful romantics can also use it.

Kevitch, 31, and the 'Bam Bam' singer, 25, started dating in June 2022, according to Entertainment Weekly. Kevitch urged his buddies to introduce him to the 'Havana' singer at the time because the two had mutual friends, according to a source. They were spotted holding hands in August last year along with multiple other citings that confirmed their relationship.

Camilla Cabello slammed for complaining paparazzi took bikini pics of her when she was 'unprepared'

In a picture, Cabello was seen carrying a bottle of water in one hand while sporting a blue dress covered with white flowers, a short ponytail, hoop earrings, black sandals, and a beige cross-body bag while the dating app CEO wore a white t-shirt paired with green shorts, white and red socks and white sneakers. “They were very sweet together and looked happy… They kissed. When they left, they held hands and took a walk together. They had a nice day and looked like they very much enjoy being together,” added the source.

Camila's dating app experience

In October, Cabello talked about using the conventional, contemporary method to look for her next relationship before getting a message that made her cancel the service. "I was on a dating app for like 24 hours then I left," stated Cabello outlining her reasoning during an appearance on 'The Drew Barrymore Show'. She added, "Because the first guy that DM'ed me was like an aspiring singer-songwriter from Nashville and I was just like, I feel weird because somebody could be using me. Does that make sense?"

Barrymore replied saying "you don't know [someone's] intentions" on virtual dating platforms, and Cabello agreed. "Yeah, you don't know their intentions," added the Grammy-nominated artist. "But even that, I'm like, I don't even know. When you are just trying to make friends, you're going to meet guys that are vetted by your friends, which is amazing."

Camila and Shawn break up

Prior to dating Kevitch, 'Señorita' singer was in a relationship with Shawn Mendes, who she dated for two and a half years before ending the relationship in November 2021. The couple made a joint Instagram announcement of their breakup in April last year. Soon after, Mendes claimed that despite their separation, he and Cabello remained friendly.

"[We're] so friendly. I mean, I loved Camila first for so many years and that's never gonna change," he stated during an interview on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest'. The singer revealed Seacrest that he wrote his song 'When You're Gone' around a month after they broke up and that he found the writing process to be healing. The song's lyrics discuss attempting to move on after a traumatic breakup.
