Make way for 'Call Me Kat' a new series starring 'The Big Bang Theory' star Mayim Bialik. Based on the British series 'Miranda', 'Call me Kat' follows the story of Kat Silver. The series not only features Mayim Bialik as its showrunner, but she's also the executive producer, alongside her 'The Big Bang Theory' castmate Jim Parsons.

Plot
Kat Silver is a 39-year-old woman, who is expected to live life as per society's standards. But having spent her entire savings to open a cat cafe in Louisville, KY, her life isn't exactly conventional. Kat is single, a fact that she's quite okay with, but her mother, Sheila, absolutely isn't. She views her daughter's relationship status as her very own personal failure. But Kat isn't deterred by it, she's determined to find her own happiness. While she continues to get up to antics at the cafe with her employees Randi and Phil, Kat's single status might just change, when her former crush, Max, returns to town, hilarity is sure to ensue!

Mayim Bialik
An actress, neuroscientist and author, Mayim Bialik has become a household name over the years, thanks to her award-winning role as Amy Farrah Fowler in 'The Big Bang Theory'. Bialik started off as a child actor in the late '80s. 'Blossom' proved to be her breakout role, after which she took on numerous voice acting gigs as well. Bialik has a BS degree in neuroscience with minors in Hebrew and Jewish Studies from UCLA, along with a PhD in neuroscience as well.
Swoosie Kurtz
Emmy and two-time Tony Award winner Swoosie Kurtz takes on the role of Sheila, Kat's overbearing mother in the series. Kurtz has featured in a number of broadway shows over the years as well as TV roles, her most famous ones being 'Pushing Daises' and 'Mike And Molly'.
Kyla Pratt
Kyla Pratt takes on the role of Randi, the confident millennial at Kat's cat cafe. Pratt has played a number of roles over the years, including voicing Penny Proud in Disney Channel's 'The Proud Family, the Dr Dolittle franchise and is currently a part of VH1's 'Black Ink Crew: Compton'.
Leslie Jordan
Leslie Jordan plays Phil, Kat's employee at the cafe who claims that he's not a 'cat person' even though he works at what Is very obviously a cat cafe. The Emmy-winning actor has featured in a wide range of TV shows, such as 'Will and Grace', 'Boston Legal' 'Caroline in The City' and 'American Horror Story'. He's also an accomplished stage actor and playwright.
