Spoilers for 'Bull' Season 2 Episode 2 'The Great Divide'

'Bull' seems to just love surprising people. It does appear that the new season is all about change and that is seen in 'The Great Divide' as it pits Chunk Palmer (Christopher Jackson) against Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez) in a conflict of interest case that sees a young artist being sued by a mother as she deems her responsible for her daughter's death. While Chunk represents the artist, Benny represents the mother and what follows is a lawyers' El-Clasico. The standoff ends with a bittersweet result as the girl is guilty of a wrong call, but the death is an accident, and she gets no further punishment.

This leads to speculate if Benny will be part of TAC and for that matter if Rodriguez will be part of the show. If Benny were to go on and become DA, that would essentially mean he's not part of TAC actively. Just to add to the mystery and the speculation, the IMDb cast and crew page for 'Bull' has listed Rodriguez only for two episodes.

However, we feel it might be updated and we may have a definitive answer by the time the episode airs next week. While we can be sure that Benny will be on the next episode, the bigger question would be what this would mean for the show. Rodriguez has been an instrumental part of the show since inception and the actor has received widespread acclaim for playing Benny in the series. The character is an absolute fan-favorite and should we hear the unfortunate news that he is leaving the show, there is no doubt it will be an absolute shocker.

More importantly, the storyline about him being DA would also mean giving the perfect send-off. Nothing beats having a higher position for a lawyer and for a man of Benny's caliber, the DA job would be a perfect fit. For now, all of this is pure speculation. Only time will tell how things will pan out.
