It's something or the other every day in the BTS fandom, the latest update being a possible DJ Khaled collaboration that nobody could have seen coming. The source of the rumor was the rapper's own Snapchat where he posted a video of him surfing through miniature dolls of the K-Pop boyband, asking 'What's good' and saying 'bless up'. Fans immediately began speculating whether this was a hint of a collaboration between the two that was on the way but the prospect of that actually happening did not leave some excited.

Khaled, who's known for producing a number of iconic chart-toppers from his We the Best label, is probably a fan of the boyband and has quite the respect for them at heart. It was clear from his video where he's surfing through a carton full of packaged BTS dolls, and saying "Bless up" for the band. The reason fans assumed a collab was coming is a little phrase seen on the boxes of the dolls, where it mentioned the words “As an honored BTS fan and collaborator" and fans assumed this was a new line of dolls from Khaled exclusively where he and BTS were working together. while other fans clarified, it was "the doll company referred to themselves as BTS collaborators," and not Khaled, the problem didn't end there for many.

One particularly displeased fan wrote "Why some of yall going 'omg DJ Khaled × BTS collab!!' like that would be a good thing?? The man is proud of the fact he expects oral sex from his wife and that he refuses to go down on her in return. He's gross. i dont want his sexist ass anywhere near the boys." The reference dates all the way back to 2015 when Khaled had said in a radio interview “It’s different rules for men," about why it wouldn't be okay for a woman to refuse oral sex to him. "You gotta understand, we the king. There’s some things that y’all might not wanna do, but it got to get done. I just can’t do what you want me to do. I just can’t." When it came to him, he had clearly refused to the idea of ever having performed oral sex on his partner.

Moving on, for other BTS fans, this seemed like a problem surrounding the lack of genuine fondness for the band, as they shared: "I’m just gonna say it don’t care if I’m told I’m being judgmental...he’s great and all but I wouldn’t want @BTS_twt doing a collab with him in all honesty...simply coz BTS deserves to work with people who genuinely like them and appreciate them."

Other fans "need him to back it on up cause if i turn on a bts song in the near future and the first thing i hear is “DJ KHALED” im simply going to lose it." And some were quick to bring up "didn't this dude confused another group w/ bts or something..." referring to the 2019 incident when the raper mistook the KPop band NCT for BTS. But the most random thing about all of this was Khaled with a whole pack of dolls at his doorstep, as some fans pointed it out as 'random', others expressed "... why does he have a whole package of Mattel dolls ong his doorstep..."
