LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bruce Willis' two families have banded together in a desperate attempt to fend off the effects of dementia threatening to steal a lifetime of memories from the actor. Bruce Willis' condition is reportedly deteriorating as the actor battles the untreatable and rare condition called 'frontotemporal dementia' aka FTD.

According to sources, the 67-year-old Die Hard tough guy's current spouse, Emma Heming, 44, and ex, Demi Moore, 60, intend to get together with Bruce's five daughters and former co-stars once a week to watch his old movies and TV shows in his Beverly Hills home in the hopes that the occasions will trigger his memories and keep them fresh in his mind, as per RadarOnline.

'Will keep Bruce's memory sharp and stimulated'

An insider revealed, "It was Demi's idea and the whole family is very excited about it." According to insiders, Bruce's inner circle has already sent invites to his co-star Cybill Shepherd from 'Moonlighting', his wife Bonnie Bedelia from 'Die Hard', and his friend Sylvester Stallone from 'The Expendables'.

The Insider elaborated and said, "The family hopes that reliving the various experiences he had with his co-stars will keep Bruce's memory as sharp and stimulated as possible. It may be a Hail Mary pass, but at this stage, they're willing to try anything to keep Bruce's memory intact for as long as they can."

'Cherishing every single minute'

After learning that the Paradise City actor had frontotemporal dementia, Bruce's family is reportedly "cherishing every single minute" with him. Rumer Willis, Demi and Bruce's 34-year-old pregnant daughter, is reportedly hurrying to the altar in the hopes that her famous father can guide her down the aisle.

Last month, a family friend revealed that Bruce was first diagnosed with the rare brain condition, aphasia, which stymies communication abilities while causing progressive damage, in March 2022. It has only gotten worse since then, as reported by VirginRadio. The member said, “Rumer desperately wants her father to not only remember her wedding but participate.”

The insider who revealed the information, said, “The fact that doctors have said he could have as little as a few years left before the worst effects of the aphasia assert themselves is driving the decision for Rumer to get married as quickly as possible.” Bruce was compelled to give up acting due to the disease. The star's current wife and ex-wife have come close as they close ranks in a bid to be supportive during his difficult period, as per reports.
