MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Brooke Shields went all out and about on New Year as she took to social media to share her carefree look but with a word of advice. The 57-year-old actress posted a black and white photo of her on her Instagram that showed her enjoying at a beach.

In the caption, she noted, “A fresh start 🤍 Happy New Year, everyone! All my love. xx.” The ‘A Castle for Christmas’ star chose a long white swimwear without any pants for the first day of 2023. Not just that, Shields also donned a big, beautiful smile as she posed while running in the sea water.

The model was in good spirits and played in the water on New Year’s Eve as well. She made public a few photos from December 31, 2022, declaring, “#NewYearsEve mood 🕺✨ Be safe out there tonight, everybody!” The first picture showed the ‘Flower Shop Mystery: Mum's the Word’ star spreading pool water in an all-black outfit. Other pictures also presented Shields’ glamorous side while apparently doing @marieclairegreece photoshoot.

Both of Shields’ posts attracted a lot of good comments with a fan saying, “What a great picture of you! But then, again, you never take a bad picture!☺️ happy healthy new year to you and your loved ones✨⭐️💫.” Another fan wrote, “Happy New Year! I hope you have one of those ‘couldn't have wished for more’ kind of years ahead, Cheers!” The third one commented, “Stunning photo Brooke 🎉Happy New Year!! 🌟🙏🤩”

A person noted, “You're amazing, you looks like a truly Queen!” The second person stated, “looking fabulous brook Sheilds ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” “Wow Brook, always stunning😍😍 Happy New Year 🍀🍀 gorgeous as always,” an admirer added.

This comes as Shields and her co-star Christopher Atkins in ‘The Blue Lagoon’ expressed their views over the controversial film. On her ‘Now What?’ iHeartRadio podcast, the mother-of-two reportedly said, “Never again will a movie be made like that. It wouldn’t be allowed.”

Atkins then shared, “Oh gosh, no. Animals were hurt in the movie. We were spearing fish and all kinds of crazy things. Children are naked running down a beach; couldn’t do that now.” It has also been said that the two actors were kind of forced by production (and Shields’ mother) to date each other. But she explained, “They wanted us so desperately to fall in love with each other. I did not react well being forced into feeling anything. I hadn’t even kissed anybody by that age.”

Also, about other issues she faced during the filming, Shields added, “We were wearing little strips of clothing, and my hair was taped on to my body to cover the boobs, which were very minimal anyway. I don’t know what I was trying to cover. Remember the bumpy pads? They would stick these little flesh-colored things on my nipples because ‘nipple’ evidently was where they drew the line in this movie.”
