The 'Toxic' singer uploaded two separate posts with the same caption on her feed. The shared media had different photos of her two sons, with the first photo series containing two pictures of her oldest son, Preston, on a bright sunny day while he stares directly at the camera. Britney's second post showcased a snap of younger son Jayden as he smiles standing agaisnt a white wall. "To both of my boys...I love you...I would die for you!!! God speed my precious hearts!!! I would give anything just to touch your face!!!" she wrote in the caption. "I send my love...Mamasita."
Britney’s relationship with her estranged sons has gone through many tough times. According to the Daily Mail, the pop singer revealed in August that she hadn't seen her sons for "months." Her ex-partner, former dancer Kevin Federline, whom she divorced in 2006, said the boys' willingly avoided the circus surrounding their mother's private life. Moreover, they did not even attend her wedding to American-Iranian model Sam Asghari held in June. Britney, on the other hand, was furious about their decision of bailing out and accused her sons of "abandoning her" and "being hateful" in a now deleted Instagram post. In response to which Kevin, 44, posted clips which allegedly found the singer 'screaming' at her sons when they were younger. The post has now been deleted, as per the outlet.
During the special interview which aired on ITV news in September with documentary filmmaker, Daphne Barak, Britney's two sons spoke candidly about their difficult relationship with the singer. While Jayden confesses that there is "no hate," he emphasizes that "it will take a lot of time and effort" to repair their broken relationship. "I 100% think this can be fixed. It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again." Jayden referred directly to her mother when he said, "I love you a lot, I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again."
