LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former assistant to pop legend Britney Spears has opened up about her relationship with the star and her recent interaction with her. On asked whether Felicia Culotta spoke to Spears after her conservatorship of 13 years ended, she said, “I haven’t spoken to her in quite a while. I write all the time. I love handwritten letters.”

While speaking at the Broadway opening of the musical ‘& Juliet’ on Thursday, November 17, with Page Six, Culotta said, “I just hope and pray she gets them. I know for sure before she wasn’t [in the past], so I’m very hopeful that she gets them [now].” Winning her freedom last year, Spears finally came out of her restrictive conservatorship that was in effect from February 2008 to November 2021.

During this period mostly, the ‘Stronger’ singer’s father, Jamie Spears, was named as her conservator. This meant all her finances and personal affairs, with whom she talks to — everything were decided by him. Culotta, who was part of FX and Hulu’s ‘Framing Britney Spears’ and the New York Times’ ‘Controlling Britney Spears’ further said that what the father had to face was well-deserved, “It does feel like karma. Karma will get every single thing that was bad — karma will take care of [it]. I have faith in that.”

The ex-assistant to the pop singer was there with Spears and saw her rise to fame and glory and working with songwriter Max Martin, who’s also producing parts for '& Juliet.’ “Max and Brit were so right on point on everything," she said. “They listened to her. They wrote songs about things that were on her mind. They included her in all the songwriting and they included me in all the shenanigans. So, I was grateful to be a part of it,” Culotta added, as per the report.

However, Britney in her recently deleted post said that she wasn’t too excited to see her ex-assistant appearing in documentaries, and pointed out that some of the accounts shared by her weren’t even true. “The best part to me was when my old assistant talked about how I went through the neighborhood passing out 100 dollar bills when my first song came out !!!” the 'Toxic' singer wrote a few weeks ago. “I wish I could go inside the heads of people like my dad and her and really try to understand why people lie and make up such things like that !!!” she added.

But that didn’t bother Culotta as she wishes Spears a happy married life with Sam Asghari, “I just hope that her wedding and all the good things that are happening in her life make her as happy as we want her to be.”
