Who is Bre-Z's girlfriend Chris Amore? Meet the make-up artist who stole the ‘All American’ star's heart
If there's one character in ‘All American’ who will win your heart with honesty and the grit to stand up for what's right, it's Bre-Z as Tamia ‘Coop’ Cooper. Since the show began, the character has snuck a sweet spot in many hearts. In the second season, fans were delighted to see how Spencer James' lesbian friend from Crenshaw High came out of the closet and accepted her relationship with girlfriend Patience (Chelsea Tavares).
As The CW show comes back with a brand new season, fans can't stop wondering if she is dating anyone in real life. Shedding light on her sexuality, the 33-year-old earlier said in an interview with Nylon Magazine, “I love everybody. But when it gets down to whatever is underneath my clothes, whatever is inside of my home, or in my bedroom... I feel like at some point, being in the public eye, you have to keep something for yourself. And that's just what I choose to keep for me.”
Here's all about the special someone who is all over her social media profiles.
Who is Bre-Z?
Did you know Bre-Z is a musician in real life too? After starting her music career at 14, she started writing songs and met Freeway of Roc-A-Fella Records rap group State Property when she was 15. Soon after, she collaborated with Dr Dre, Jennifer Lopez, and The Game.
Born as Calesha Murray in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was raised in Wilmington, Delaware, and her family knew she would eventually end up in the showbiz world as her mother also worked in the entertainment industry. When she was born, her grandmother gave her the nickname “Bre-Z” (short for breezy) at birth as she wouldn't stop crying until a window was shut! In school, she was often mistaken for a boy due to her short hair. After graduating high school in 2005, she attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. In 2008, she moved to Atlanta when her mom found a job there, and Bre-Z began cutting hair to make money.
Coming from a family of barbers, it came to her naturally and she soon also had Akon and Ludacris among her clientele. Interestingly, she moved to Los Angeles in 2014 with just one dollar in her bank account to live her dream of being a musician.
Who is Chris Amore?
Not much is known about Chris Amore except that she is a make-up artist and lives in Woodland Hills, California. Bre-Z has often illustrated her love through her captions. In one post, she said, “Words could never express our bond.”
She added, “Today I want to acknowledge your strength. You have overcome things women couldn’t imagine. Not only did u get through, you came out with a smile. Your fearless ability to never stop fighting for yourself is amazing. I thank you for allowing me to join you on this never-ending road to love oneself. You're beautiful inside and out. You’ve stuck by me through every up and down and not once complained.”
Bre-Z ended the post by writing, “Thank you for being you. Your love and light shines the brightest. This thing is beyond love. I love you!” In another Instagram post, she wrote, “I told @chrisamore_ if I knew her in high school she would’ve been mine! Lol last night was nostalgic!”

Tracing their relationship on Instagram, it seems like the two sparked romance in 2019 (or at least that's when they made it Instagram official).
Recently, the two took to their Instagram pages to share their love for each other with pictures snapped by Beast Williams. Bre-Z captioned a post, “Ain’t nothing like the real thing.” Amore also shared a photo where the two can be seen passionately kissing each other and penned down, “The way you make me feel 💫Cheers to yet another New Year with you baby.”
