'All American' Season 2: Fans love how Coop stands up to bullies and wins hearts in the rap battle
Not just football, 'All American' is bringing more focus to the rap scene with Coop's (Bre-Z) storyline too. Spencer's (Daniel Ezra) lesbian friend from Crenshaw High has had a difficult time after she came out of the closet and accepted her relationship with girlfriend Patience (Chelsea Tavares).
In episode two, Coop struggled with writing lyrics and she could finally pen down a song with cues from Patience's voice message. Her mother also slowly started accepting her sexual orientation.
In episode three, her confidence got a boost when she stood her ground in front of a bunch of bullies and her high school mates cheered for her.
Fans seem to have been impressed with the sequence and have been tweeting about it. "You just got Coop'd. Patience at this moment, same. #AllAmerican@ChelseaTavares," one tweet read.
Another said, "Coop standing up to bullies, that's the Coop we know and love. #AllAmerican@BREZOFFICIAL." One user wrote, "Okay Coop! Killed that dude with a rap!! #AllAmerican," and another posted, "Patience looking like the proud girlfriend when Coop clowned that dude at school #AllAmerican."

Towards the end of the episode, Coop performs brilliantly in the first round of the rap battle. However, a rival rapper detailed her effort to rid the town of Tyrone and that left her shattered in the second round.
Fans were taken aback by how people seem to keep getting on Coop's nerves and want them to leave her alone. "I was not expecting Little Fizz to be going in on Coop like that. Who is he on the show to know ALL of that? #AllAmerican," one fan wrote.
Another fan posted, "Coop shoulda dusted off them raps she used against Hakeem #AllAmerican." As the fourth episode rolls out next Monday, October 28, it is yet to be seen whether Coop gets square with the rapper.
