Brandi Glanville accuses 'RHONY' alum Alex McCord of using her name for 'a few new followers'
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: It's been 15 years since Bravo viewers first met Alex McCord on 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' and more than a decade since she left the show. And now, she'll be making her reality TV return on 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' Season 4. With only a few days until the debut, she already got into a spat with fellow housewife, Brandi Glanville.
On January 9, Peacock revealed the cast for Season 4 of 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,' bringing back the Ex-Wives Club concept with eight previous housewives. Alex McCord, a Season 1-4 veteran of 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' is one of those 'Wives. Alex called out to all the 'Real Housewives' fans on her page to commemorate her return to the Bravosphere. In a beautiful Instagram post, she revealed how she plans to begin her 12-year homecoming.

Alex wrote in her post, "#RHUGT Calling all HW Stans! I'm heading off to RHUGT a bit blind since I've been away for 12 years. So I'm asking your advice on these fabulous ladies in alphabetical order over the next week. Today is Brandi Glanville Day! What are your favorite Brandi moments?"
What appeared to be a beautiful post to kick off her comeback, she had to face backlash from one housewife, whom she attempted to know better. 'RHOBH' alum Brandi Glanville said on Twitter, sharing a screenshot of Alex's post, "This bitch ever heard of you tube????? I hope this post got her a few new followers," alleging Alex is trying to gain new followers on the back of Brandi's popularity.

Even though Alex is yet to respond to Brandi's allegations, fans were unhappy with her approach. A fan commented under Brandi's post saying, "Brandi girl..not only did she call you fabulous but asks to hear the FANS favorite moments about you…This response of yours to her post is so weird." Fans also called out Brandi for unnecessarily trashing Alex, "Wow this is harsh! She admitted she's been out of the game & has not kept up, why an issue to get info? She's an OG. Unlike you she's not "needed" HW/bravo. If it was not for her you wouldn't have had your job. But of course, you will as usual go in like trash into this." Another fan wrote, "She’s a mother and a doctor, sorry she has made a life outside of housewives. This tweet ain’t it. Knock it off."
