Bob Saget death: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen call Full House co-star ‘most loving man’
Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have grieved the sudden death of their on-screen father and ‘Full House’ co-star Bob Saget and called him the “most loving, compassionate man”. In a statement obtained by Page Six, the Olsens said, “Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has.”
They added, “We are thinking of his daughters, wife, and family and are sending our condolences.” The sisters have played the shared role of the comedian’s on-screen daughter on ‘Full House'. Though they were not part of the series' spin-off 'Fuller House' which premiered on Netflix, they were in contact with Saget.

The fashion designer siblings’ statement came Sunday evening, January 9, after it was reported that Saget was found dead inside his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. The Orange County Sheriff's Office took to Twitter to announce his death by stating, “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget.” However, there is no official report yet that can provide the cause or circumstances that led to his demise at the age of 65.

Apart from Mary-Kate and Ashley, other cast members of ‘Full House’ and ‘Fuller House’ have also reacted with Candace Cameron Bure tweeting, “I don’t know what to say. I have no words. Bob was one of the best human beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.” John Stamos wrote, “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.” Dave Coulier added, “My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”

Warner Bros Television, which produced ‘Full House’, also issued a statement that read, “Warner Bros Television mourns the tragic loss of our dear friend Bob Saget. Bob was a father figure to many worldwide in his role as Danny Tanner on Full House. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and fans.”
Whoopi Goldberg wrote on Twitter, “Sail on my friend Bob Saget. With your huge heart and abject lunacy, my condolences to his daughters & other family.” Josh Gad noted, “There wasn’t a kinder person in Hollywood than Bob Saget. I am having trouble wrapping my head around this. I do not want to believe this. It’s all too much to handle.”

Meanwhile, Saget’s family has urged for privacy but in a statement asked his fans to “join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.” “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” the family added.
The actor is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters – Aubrey Saget, Lara Melanie Saget, and Jennifer Belle Saget – whom he shared with former spouse Sherri Kramer.
