'It was worth the pain': Blazej Ambrozak gets his favorite Nike shoes tattooed on feet in painful 8-hour video
ROCHDALE, ENGLAND: A man tattoed his favorite Nike Jordan shoes on his feet in a grueling eight-hour-long tattoo session. Blazej Ambrozak, 44, from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, took his admiration for Nike Jordan Trainer shoes to the next level after he decided to get it permanently inked on his feet and proposed the unique request to the tattoo artist.
Blazej remarked the eight-hour process was "very painful" while admitting that getting the tattoo was a "spontaneous decision", adding that "it was worth the pain," according to DailyMail. Now that he has his favorite shoes inked on his body, he can wear his favorite pair of shoes even when he goes to sleep and never worry about going out without them.

'Jordans are my absolute favorites'
Blazej, an HGV driver, said, "It was a spontaneous decision to get the trainer tattoo, but I really liked the idea because it is different and not something that you see very often." He continued, "I love all kinds of Nike trainers, but Jordans are my absolute favorites so I decided that this was the pair that I would base my design on. It was a very painful experience. The worst part was my toes and my heels, but it was worth the pain as the tattoo looks great. Luckily, the recovery wasn't too bad for me either because my feet didn't swell too much. I was back at work within three days of having the tattoo."
It was an 'unusual request'
Dean Gunther, a tattoo artist with 15 years of experience who specializes in "color realism", opened up that it took him two hours to draw the Nike shoes on Blazej's feet, and took eight hours to tattoo it after calling it an "unusual request." He explained, "He loves his Nike shoes and decided to get them tattooed on permanently. That just shows his commitment. He's tired of buying new shoes every few months, so now he can wear his Nikes even to bed." He further added, "I thought it was very funny. His wife found it funny too. I think it's definitely a great icebreaker and he is a grown man, so I guess he can do whatever he wants. It was definitely an unusual request. It took me two hours to draw the sneakers on and another eight hours to tattoo both feet in one day. I specialize in color realism tattoos, and this is something completely different."
The artist said at the time, "I had seen really bad ones attempted before. Because I specialize in color realism I wanted to give it a go. I thought it would be funny as hell." "The client nearly quit one hour into it on the first day but we got there," he further added.
