The 'Black Ink Crew' aren't all millionaires, but they do have impressive bank accounts. Continue to read to find out how far Phor Evrim Brumfield, aka Phor Robinson, from the cast of 'Black Ink Crew Chicago,' has gone since his debut on the show.

Due to their close connection, most 'Black Ink Crew Chicago' fans have long questioned if Phor Evrim and Bishop Don are brothers, and the reality is, they are. Both have had their due bit of good and bad moments on the show, making them fan faves but with the lowest net worths. Nevertheless, fans believe that Phor's net worth has skyrocketed after taking his rapping profession seriously alongside his full-time tattoo work in 2020. Since neither Phor nor Don revealed their histories before 'Black Ink Crew,' their mystery made them more appealing to their fans.

VH1 premiered 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago', a reality series portraying the intertwined lives of tattoo artists working at 9Mag, a Black-owned and operated tattoo parlor in Pilsen, in October 2015. The cast of 'Black Ink Crew' turned the shop's regulars into superstars, but cast member Phor Robinson had already made a reputation for himself as a rapper before the first episode aired — he'd released the full-length 'Sacrifice' in early 2015. Robinson has released four additional albums as Phor since then, averaging roughly one per year. The 2020 album 'Self Love (NMOL)' is largely about mental health, although a couple of its 16 tracks highlight Robinson's steely talents. He has an uncanny ability to amp up the bounce in his cadence by putting his rubbery lines into the pit of a song's rhythm, and he can make his flow sound both fluid and hard-edged. Robinson couples gloomy despair with seesawing verses on 'Mind Over Matter,' delivering his words so tenderly and methodically that even his shortest lines reveal emotional complexity.

'Black Ink Crew: Chicago,' now in its ninth season, is mainly responsible for Phor's popularity, but it doesn't represent who he is. He considers himself an all-around artist and wishes to be treated as such. He often reminds people that when they look at him, they should think of an artist. Don't only think of him as a rapper; everything he does is art. He is continually making something, whatever it is.

Phor was a shy boy who spent his time in his grandmother's basement playing video games and creating battle raps. Phor created a name for himself in Marynook, where he grew up before the suburbs — and long before the bright lights of reality-TV stardom. He rose to prominence as a rapper. Aaron, his childhood companion, went under the alias Phase One. He began producing beats and was an expert at freestyling about everything he saw. Phor was awestruck. When Phor picked up the pen about the same time Nas ethered Jay-Z in 2001, he was 14 or 15 years old. Phor claimed that he would not be the songwriter he is today if it weren't for Aaron. Phor didn't know the formula for rap like that, but he embraced Aaron's drive and started taking it seriously. Phor tries not to make hits. He attempts to create anthems, such as stadium music. His formula is unique.

Phor also grew up sketching; a painter neighbor, whom he only recalls as Mr Harris, taught him perspective and depth, as well as how to refine his talents. He used to doodle and conceal all of his drawings in his mama's closet in a big-a** Aldi's bag. As a student at Thornwood High School in South Holland, Phor began painting personalized graphics on gym shoes. He was jobless. His mum only gave him $5 to $10 every day for lunch. When he couldn't afford anything, he began designing garments and shoes. People would send him new Air Force 1s, and he would go insane. He had a hold on every school, even beyond high school. He signed a deal with Nike at the age of 20, but it came so quickly that he wasn't clear what he was getting himself into — and when it expired, he didn't renew it. It was only a short step from there to tattooing. On New Year's Eve 2008, he was in the Indiana basement of his buddy Jet, who had his own tattoo equipment and still handles Phor's tattoos. Everyone around Phor encouraged him to pick up the needle.

Phor's rapping, on the other hand, is at the heart of his work. It's the main reason he stands out on 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' - he's the cast's lone musician, and his songs are played on the series. He compares himself to Paul Wall, the showy Houston rapper known for his grill designs and chopped-and-screwed hip-hop. Phor operates independently of any record label (he's handled by Chicago hip-hop collective Private Stock), however, he claims to have spoken with big label executives who have requested him to give up his tattoo job to focus only on music.

He's been putting more effort into his rap profession, and he intends to release a mixtape every year. He's created 200 songs and posts what appear to be freestyles set to prominent R&B rhythms on Instagram - he has approximately 743,000 followers (as of August 2022) and names the series #StricklyPhorInstagram. He never sought to become a rapper like a lot of individuals who get on reality TV and then become rappers; it was already in the pudding for him. It's a service with tattooing. Music is his drug of choice.

What is Phor Robinson's net worth?

Phor and his co-stars' strong personalities, along with their incredible tattooing ability, have made their reality television program, 'Black Ink Crew,' one of the best series on Paramount Plus. Along with their stardom come their fees and royalties, which fans of the series believe are already in the millions. Phor Robinson's net worth is variously estimated online. While predicting his income is relatively simple, determining how much Phor has spent over the years is more difficult. If eceleb-gossip is to be believed, his net worth in 2022 is at $150,000..

In the new season, which premieres on August 9 at 8 pm ET/PT, Phor will show the world some of the difficulties he faces while co-parenting as a new father. As a rising 'Chi-Town' rapper, Phor will prioritize his music and new business chances before dating again.
