Viral video shows woman run on LAX tarmac trying to FLAG DOWN plane!
On Monday night, a woman attempted to get near an airplane by running out onto the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport. At around 6:30 pm, an alarm went off as the woman walked through the door to a gate and down the steps onto the tarmac at Terminal 1.
A fellow passenger who was waiting at the Southwest Airlines terminal at LAX recorded video of the unusual encounter. Tezlyn Figaro took video of the woman being arrested and shared it on Twitter.

"Wow, I'm sitting here at LAXairport & this white young lady runs out the door & on the tarmac trying to wave a plane down. It seems like it took the police forever to get here. If she were Black, she would be shot (with no questions asked)," Figaro wrote on her Twitter.
The woman unlocked the door to gate 12B and ran down the stairs onto the tarmac, according to Figaro, who is Black. "The girl rushed by me, out the exit door, down the stairs, and onto the tarmac to stop a jet! To stop her, a Southwest employee dashed down the stairwell. When the cops arrived, they handled her with care. I took notes since I rarely see Black people handled in this manner."
The woman appeared to be in a lot of pain as she rushed across the tarmac, trying to get away from a man clad in black who was trying to restrain her. She got dangerously close to the waiting plane at one point, but the man grabbed her and shoved her back.
Other airport staff in fluorescent vests gathered around the location but held back as the woman attempted to approach the Boeing 737 Southwest plane numerous times. A short time later, police came on the scene and began searching the woman's bag.
Seven cops and a K-9 searched the passenger's belongings as her hands were tied behind her back. There didn't appear to be any kind of struggle, and she wasn't thrown to the ground, as would generally be the case in such a security breach.
Airline employees who witnessed the woman exiting the terminal followed security protocols and maintained visual contact until the airport police arrived shortly thereafter and detained the woman, who was sent to hospital for treatment of minor injuries and mental health analysis.
