QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA: If rumors are anything to go by, then Bindi Irwin is expecting again, more than a year after giving birth to her daughter on her first wedding anniversary. The daughter to wildlife enthusiast Steve Irwin and a conservationist herself, Irwin has been married to her husband Chandler Powell since 2020 and has a daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. And now, it seems it’s only a matter of time before she makes the second pregnancy announcement.
The photos that added to this speculation are those from the birthday party that Irwin had recently conducted for her husband Chandler. She is seen hiding her stomach by standing behind the cake, but try as she might, eagled-eyed watchers have not missed it. According to Daily Mail, insiders have revealed that the couple will make the announcement ‘any day now.’

As it turns out, it seems that the couple was waiting it out so that the news can be shared in private with Irwin’s parents-in-law Chris and Shanna Powell, who live in the US. "They're hoping to officially announce another baby is on the way any day now," a source has claimed, while adding that, “They also can't wait to give Grace a sibling close in age. They really want a boy, given that both Bindi and Chandler grew up with a brother each and loved it.”
The same source has also claimed that Irwin is sad that "the infant months are over" and is looking forward to having another child "sooner rather than later." What’s also doing the rounds is that Irwin may have already told her mother Terri that she is all set to become a grandmother for the second time. “Bindi’s already hinted to her mum that she might be a grandma for the second time and [her mum] Terri’s over the moon at the mere thought of it.”
The recent photos had only confirmed the rumors though Irwin is yet to make the announcement. In the pictures, she is seen posing for photos with her family at the Crocodile Lounge at Queensland. She stood behind the cake in all the pictures, with commenters taking to the clear indication that she is pregnant.
One commenter said, “We see it Bindi but we'll wait” and another said, “Not sure, maybe grace is going to be a big sister, only a guess if it's true they'll tell the world when they're ready.” A third commenter alluded to the cake while implying her pregnancy, “That is very strategic cake placement!” Another commenter very directly said, “There is 100% a bun in that oven.”
