The highly anticipated show from EPIX titled ‘Billy the Kid’ has finally premiered and if you are a fan of western dramas, then you would definitely love this series. Based on the life of Henry McCarty, aka Billy the Kid, the series shows how an innocent child went on to become one of the most renowned outlaws in American history. The first two episodes are filled with amazing sequences and super writing.

The best thing about the western drama is that dives deeper into the childhood of Billy (Tom Blyth) and shows how he became a gunfighter of the top stature. Apart from showing how he became a key figure in American history, the EPIX series also showed how his mother Kathleen (Eileen O’Higgins) suffered so much after her husband’s death. That was one of the main reasons why Billy decided to become something more than society intended him to be.
