Paramount Network aired its final episode of 'Yellowstone' Season 4 and audiences are already feeling the blues. From a surprise wedding to a shocking killing fans were left more than satisfied and hungry for new episodes of the enthralling drama.
The pandemic which is still going on had put the previous season on hold leading to a delay and with the current situation, Season 5 may take a while as well. Will there be a Season 5? When will it release and where to watch it ?
The simple answer is yes there will be. Deadline recently reported that a fifth season is scheduled to start production in May 2022 and back in March 2021, Cole Hauser also shared that creator Taylor Sheridan was already working on a new season. Since filming is yet to start and no official date or renewal has been announced, Season 5 can be expected to drop sometime in 2023. You'll be able to catch it on the Paramount Network channel.
What will Season 5 of 'Yellowstone' be about?
Season 5 is likely to follow the repurcusions of Jamie having to kill his birth father Garett Randall. This move that was forced by Beth may see his cut off all ties with John. The Season 4 finale also saw Beth get fired from Market Equities and charged with corporate espionage, so her character will be seen dealing with the aftermath. She also tied the knot with her love Rip Wheeler so the next season may explore their married life too. Meanwhile the continuous threat of developers and hungry land sharks will be an ongoing plot as well.
Who stars in Season 5 of the Paramount drama?
Kevin Costner as John Dutton
One of the greatest actors of his generation, Kevin Costner is a producer, director, and musician. Costner made his feature film debut in 1981 and went on to act in various movies. His 1990 movie ‘Dances with the Wolves’ was a huge hit and was nominated for 12 Oscars, winning 7 out of those 12, including Best Picture and Best Director for Costner. The films Bull Durham', ' The Untouchables' and 'Field of Dreams' further cemented his place in Hollywood. He has since gone on to star in many successful projects, one of them being 'Yellowstone' where he essays the main role of John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family.
All of the other main cast members which include Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton, Wes Bentley as Jamie Dutton, Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler, Kelsey Asbille as Monica Long Dutton and more expected to return.
The fourth Season also introduced new characters Summer Higgin (Piper Perabo) and Carter(Finn Little) who may return along with the possibility of more characters being introduced as well.

The show is created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson while it is penned by Sheridan. Apart from Linson, Sheridan, and Kevin Costner, prominent personalities like Art Linson and David C. Glasses also serve as executive producers on the show.
