Who is Alina de Almeida? John Paulson, 66, wants to marry GF, 34, after billion-dollar split from wife
Sources have revealed that American billionaire and hedge fund manager John Paulson, who is currently embroiled in a sensational and expensive divorce from his wife Jenny, is reportedly already planning to marry nutrition guru Alina de Almeida, Page Six reports. Last year, Page Six reported that John and Jenny were divorcing after 21 years of marriage and that he had already moved into his swanky Fifth Avenue apartment with the nutritionist.
Forbes estimates that John Paulson, 66, is worth $4 billion. According to official documents, he divorced his wife (51) in September 2021. They have two daughters, who are 19 and 17 years old. Jenica Paulson claimed to have read about the divorce in the Page Six column of the New York Post, as reported by US News.

Who is Alina de Almeida?
According to a Page Six report, in 2021, the 66-year-old billionaire has been dating 34-year-old dietician Alina de Almeida. According to the sources, the new couple met last year summer and things have been going so well that they were already living together in his swanky Fifth Avenue apartment in Olympic Tower. A source said, "John does have a new, much younger girlfriend and while it is still early days, the relationship is blossoming. They are very happy."
According to the report, "De Almeida is a certified registered dietician and expert in weight loss counseling, and runs the company Effective Lifestyle, which also has an Instagram feed featuring her in skimpy workout gear and offering nutrition tips." Almeida hails from Montclair, NJ, and has done her residency and clinical nutrition rotations at Columbia and Cornell NY Presbyterian Hospital.
The relationship between John, 66, and de Almedia, 34, has reportedly become more serious, and they may soon make it official, a source told Page Six. According to the source, she has reportedly been telling her friends that "he wants to have a baby with her and they are definitely getting married."
Ex-Jenny filed a $1 billion lawsuit against John in July, alleging that he had created a "secretive web of trusts" to keep money away from her. According to court documents, two of the three trusts had provisions that benefit "Paulson's legal wife," depriving her of the assets in the event of a divorce. Page Six previously reported that the ex-couple lacked a prenuptial agreement and that Jenny had previously rejected a multimillion-dollar payout. John told Page Six, "Unfortunately our marriage didn’t work out. Divorces are common but difficult. Alina and I are very happy together. I wish Jenny can find happiness too."
John and de Almedia, who runs Effective Lifestyle and charges $125 for diet consults, have not kept their romance a secret, going to galas and parties together, hitting the Hamptons scene, and enjoying opulent trips.
