Musician Billie Eilish and actor Matthew Tyler Vorce have split. The 30-year-old actor confirmed his breakup with the 20-year-old singer through his Instagram story while also addressing rumors that he had cheated on her.

"Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that. Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous," he wrote. Vorce previously said in a separate story, "The fact that thousands of people take time out of their day to write the most heinous things on someone they will never know is the most cowardly thing you can possibly do. Live your own life."

According to social media accounts, Vorce unfollowed Eilish on Instagram around May 8. One user wrote, "Matthew Tyler Vorce has unfollowed Billie, I know it's none of our business but hey, you know." An update account posted, " | info: Matthew Vorce a unfollow Billie sur instagram. #BillieEilish." Eilish and Vorce were rumored to be dating when they were papped on a coffee run in Santa Barbara, California in April 2021.

After the pictures of the two went viral and fans realized the duo was dating, they underwent an extensive search leading to the resurfacement of his old racist social media posts. Soon after, he issued an apology for the offensive comments. "I want to apologize for the things that I wrote on social media in the past. The language I used was hurtful and irresponsible and I understand how offensive those words are. Whether it was a lyric, a quote or just me being dumb, it does not matter," he had said in June 2021.

"I am ashamed and deeply sorry that I used them in any context. It is not how I was raised and it is not what I stand for. I shouldn't have used this language in the first place and I won't use it again. I am so sorry for the hurt I have caused. I take full responsibility and continue to hold myself accountable for my actions," Vorce concluded.
