Beyonce has posted a public message of support for Meghan Markle — two days after Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey caught everyone's attention. While some people slammed Meghan and Prince Harry for the revelations, others supported the couple and poured in love on social media.

Queen Bey shared a brief but resounding statement of support for Meghan on her website following the interview. "Thank you Meghan for your courage and your leadership," the statement titled 'Thank You Meghan' says. "We are all strengthened and inspired by you."

Meghan and Beyonce, along with their husbands Prince Harry and Jay-Z, first crossed paths on the golden carpet in London for the 'Lion King' premiere in 2019. Meghan and Harry exchanged handshakes and hugs with the 'Spirit' singer and Jay-Z.

This is not the first time when Beyonce has lauded Meghan. She previously paid tribute to the former 'Suits' actress in a 2019 BRIT Awards video, in which Beyonce and her husband appeared in front of a painted portrait of a crown-clad Meghan. Beyonce later penned a sweet message to Markle on Instagram. "Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle. How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova."

As soon as Beyonce's latest comments came to light, people started talking about it. One Internet user slammed Beyonce for her support and tweeted, "@Beyonce trash indeed attracts other trash! Class and grace can't be purchased! @serenawilliams @iamcardib #MeghanMarkle All classless trash!" While another one adored Beyonce and said, "Beyoncé was the first one big celebrity that really saw what Meghan Markle was going through and let her know she was there for her #HarryandMeghanonOprah"

Beyonce's fan page posted: "Beyoncé supports Meghan Markle for her courage in reporting cases of racism and persecution by the royal family and British press. http://Beyonce.com" While another one wrote: "Still floored at the thought we could’ve lost Beyoncé (pregnancy) Serena Williams (pregnancy) & Meghan Markle (suicide) within 2yr span if all hadn’t fiercely advocated for their own medical health. Praying for the day we listen, believe & trust Black women when told we’re in pain..."

Another user slammed Piers Morgan and wrote: "Remember when Piers Morgan thought Beyoncé was his friend because he interviewed her once? Then he turned on her when she started making music he didn’t like? He was personally offended & attacked her for years before turning his attention to Meghan Markle. He has a pattern." Thanking Beyonce another person tweeted: "Thank you  Beyonce for walking into this fight to spk up against the vitriol mistreatment of  Meghan Markle. The beyhives will come out in force. This BM will know the power POC have when they come out swinging."
