Beyonce seen cringing as Harry and Meghan plead for voiceover work during 'Lion King' premiere
Beyonce had a very awkward reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's pitch to the director of the new 'Lion King' which was captured and shared across Twitter. In a newly unearthed video being circulated on social media, the two are seen attending the premiere of 'The Lion King' and are seen speaking to some of Hollywood's most influential people.
As seen in the footage, (watch it here), Harry is seen praising his wife's voiceover skills to the director of the movie, Jon Favreau as Beyonce and Jay-Z look on. While the conversation is in progress, Beyonce is seen covering her face as though she is embarrassed for them. Many social media users poked fun at the moment when Beyonce was seen cringing.
One user shared, "Look at Beyonce! She KNOWS what's happening and she and Mr. Carter have to pretend to be nice until the Harkles get through the line. But basically, Harry is asking Bob for a job for Meghan. Meghan's pretending it's not happening. Despite having planned that."
Another user added, "This is painful to watch. Everyone seems so uncomfortable, especially while Meghan is speaking with Beyoncé." A third user chimed in, "Beyonce scratched her nose and looked as if she was embarrassed for them and then JayZ laughed at Harry's Scar joke."
"This is so funny. Beyonce & JayZ not into Meghan!!" commented a user. We had previously reported that last week on January 12, the Mail had shared a video that showed Prince Harry promoting his wife's voiceover skills to Disney boss Bob Iger.
In the new footage, Harry is heard telling the film's director Jon Favreau, "If anyone needs any extra voiceover work…" as Meghan cuts in and jokes, "That's really why we're here – it's the pitch!" Harry then continues, "… just not Scar" referring to the evil uncle in the movie.
The couple, in a shocking revelation, had said last week that they will be stepping down as senior royals and will be giving up their HRH titles.
