'Real Housewives of New York' alumnus and author Bethenny Frankel is among the celebrities acting as a voice of reason in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak fear that has gripped people across the globe.

She is actively calling for people to donate to BStrong, a disaster relief organization founded by her. To date, BStrong has funded relief programs for Australian bushfires, Amazon fires, Hurricane Michael and Puerto Rico earthquakes among others.

Bethenny is now working towards providing help and relief to people affected by coronavirus that has caused the world to come to an almost lockdown.

There's a shortage of food and other supplies as well as corona testing and sanitization kits caused by overstocking by people and she is determined to make them available to the ones who need it and don't have access to it.

She is using her Twitter very responsibly, extending her support to her followers, "I have to say: I am just so sorry everyone. I know you're all scared & on edge & have anxiety. And I am just truly pained & sorry & my heart breaks for those who have nothing and are way more scared than us.... #bstrong," she tweeted.

She's also campaigning for people to donate money for cash cards that will be distributed among parents of kids who were dependent on the free lunch program for their food requirements.

"THIS IS A CRISIS #Bstrong is assembling preventative #coronakits for hydration & sanitization & we are raising money for cash cards to be distributed to parents who can’t afford lunches. #thisisacrisis donate to BStrong goes to the effort as always," tweeted Bethenny.

Bethenny specifically called out Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk among other billionaires to donate to her foundation. "There are 607 US billionaires. If they each donated 10 million dollars, a minuscule % of their net worth, 6.7 BILLION dollars would be raised. #TENMILLION I say we start calling out names." read her tweet.

She followed this up with a quote tweet, tagging Elon Musk on it.

"Well, we called out 607 billionaires to donate #TENMILLION & I specifically asked @MikeBloomberg who has since donated 40 million worldwide, so who are we calling out next?" she continued.

A follower then added tagged Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on it. Bethenny was quick to notice this and called on him to donate to her foundation. "...Where is @JeffBezos personally donating his #TENMILLION minimum to? #bstrong is happy to use it to aid poverty-stricken people who are in complete panic & devastation right now."

Apart from this, she also posted a DIY sanitizer method for people who cannot get their hands on one due to depleted supplies in stores.

"I just made my own hand sanitizer & it smells better than the fancy one the makeup artists all use that’s $16: use spray bottle, 2/3 alcohol, aloe spray, baby oil, lavender, tea tree & eucalyptus oils(more lavender than others). Try as you go. #usewhatyouhave."

However, not everyone is being reasonable in these times. For every Bethenny, there is a Keri Hilson making ridiculous claims and fueling fear in people regarding the spread of the dreaded coronavirus. You can read that story here.
